'Back to the Future' Theory: Doc KILLED a Version of Marty!

Doc, you crazy old man!

I was initially gonna write a theory that Doc was suicidal, but after Logan Paul's distasteful and insensitive video, I decided against it. Anyways, we don't accept your apology, Logan. Go home.

Sounds crazy, right? I mean, how could Doc kill Marty? They're the best of friends. Well, as you could tell from the title, I'm not saying Doc killed the Marty that we know.

But just hear me out, and I'll explain how Doc killed Marty. I got this theory from Cracked, and I'll leave their video at the end of this article.

Okay, so you remember that scene near the end of Back to the Future where Marty shows up at the Lone Pine Mall just in time to see himself go back in time?

Well, if you think about it, the Marty that we see going back in time at the end of the film is not the same Marty that we see going to 1955 at the beginning of the film.

Because the next morning, Marty wakes up and finds that his mom, dad, his brother, and his sister have all completely changed from the way they were at the beginning of the film.

So, obviously the Marty in this alternate 1985 would be a different Marty from the one we follow throughout the entire series. In fact, we'll call this Marty "Marty2" in order to avoid confusion.

That's the Marty2 from the end of the movie

So, we now know that Marty2 is a rich kid who has a 4x4 in his garage. He's a 17-year-old with a 4x4, so he is definitely not the Marty we know, who simply WANTED a 4x4. And we're expected to believe that Marty2 would trust and start hanging out with an old, kind-of-insane scientist?

Well, let's take a look at this from the 1955 Doc's perspective. He KNOWS that Marty2 is out there somewhere in Hill Valley, and he KNOWS that the original Marty is gonna show up in Hill Valley again on October 26th, 1985.

And Doc knows that Marty and Marty2 can't meet face-to-face or, as Doc would put it, it would destroy the space-time continuum.

So, Doc knows that he needs to get Marty2 out of 1985 before Marty shows up on October 26th, 1985. And what better way to do that than by sending Marty2 back in time?

Now, Doc likely didn't send him back to 1955 the way he initially did, because there's another Marty in 1955, and they can't risk meeting face-to-face.

And if Doc is smart (which he is), he would likely send Marty2 away to a time where Marty2 can't take the DeLorean and go back to 1985, and NO ONE ELSE can take the time machine and mess up something in the space-time continuum. He likely sent Marty to a time where...no humans existed.

So, Doc most likely either sent Marty2 to the jurassic age where he could be eaten alive by dinosaurs, or, what's even MORE likely is he sent Marty2 back to when Earth had layered lava oceans so that Marty2 could pretty much get destroyed by the lava, along with the DeLorean.

DOC KILLED MARTY!!! HE SENT HIM BACK IN TIME TO BE KILLED BY LAVA!!!

Wow. Anyways, that's all I have today, and the sources I used are listed here:
