An example of colored brows.

Because I am a cosplayer who's at a huge disadvantage in comparison to the majority (can't sew and/or knit, can't style wigs, can't make props/accessories), the least I can do is keep improving and refining my makeup technique as well as be accurate to the character (in terms of appearance, especially if I need to make a few changes in the costume, and being in character for photos).

That being said, I just got a new cosplay from SL Cosplay last week. Of course, I won't tell you who because, at this point, I've kept it a secret from my fan base until all needed adjustments are settled. Because this character's hair is not only lighter than my own, it's an unnatural color, it gave me the opportunity to make this tutorial you're reading right now.

I will be showing you two ways to do this, which is why I've a lot of makeup in the first pic.

You will need: a brow and/or eyeshadow primer (preferably a clear one, so you won't end up altering the color; a white one works just as well), an eyeshadow color to match your character's hair color (which is why I'm using a multicolor eyeshadow palette), concealer, pressed (or loose) powder, and a white cream eyeshadow (an alternative to white eyeshadow primer if you don't have it). For tools, you'll need a brow brush (or an angled eyeshadow brush), a concealer brush, a makeup sponge, and a spoolie brush.

Result + Comparison # 1

This is what Method # 1 looks like in comparison to my real brow color.

Result + Comparison # 2

So, this is the result of Method # 2 and in comparison to Method # 1.

If you need to clean up the surrounding areas from outside the brow area, go ahead and do so.

As you can see from this pic, I obviously did not clean the areas and it doesn't help that I can't find my makeup remover! I'm sorry about this. Also, the concealer may look a little off, considering I did get a tan after going to the beach a few days ago but it could also be the lighting.

(Tip: after you're done cleaning around your brows, you can use concealer above and under your brows to help them look defined.)

Final Result

There are many ways to conceal your brows (the most known and common method is to use glue, concealer, and powder; however, the problem with that method is, after a while, there'll be a makeup fallout from when the glue dries and crumbles), so don't be afraid to explore and experiment! Like all other makeup techniques, experiment until you find the one that's right for you!
