Between "The Doomsday Clock" & Darkseid's return, DC Comics' December will be action packed.

It is hard to believe that 2017 will end in three months!

DC Comics is pulling out all of the stops for its December 2017 storylines. Now, GEEKS has its take on some of the hottest storylines that will make DC Comics fans wish that they would receive comics in their holiday grab bags.

Luthor’s Devil Bargain in 'The Doomsday Clock'

Lex Luthor takes the stage in part two of the 12-part maxi-series: The Doomsday Clock! Superman’s longtime nemesis is about to make a move that could change the DC Comics universe forever. Meanwhile, killer clowns invade Gotham City looking for a madman. Could that madman be the Joker? Writer Geoff Johns and artist Gary Frank present part two of the DC/Watchmen crossover, which is expected to drop on December 27.

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Warriors II

Writer James Tynion IV and artist Freddie E. Williams II reunite for the six-issue mini-series sequel to the hot DC/IDW 2015-16 crossover. When Bane appears in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe, he decides to unite all of New York’s crime empires under his rule. Can the Ninja Turtles contact the Dark Knight to stop Bane? Find out when issue one drops on December 6 and issue two goes on sale on December 20.

"Action Comics" receives a Booster Gold shot

The Man of Steel’s world shattered when Mr. Oz revealed his identity to be Superman’s long-thought-dead father: Jor-El! Superman hopes that Booster Gold can use the time stream to confirm his father’s story. Is Jor-El’s story true? Will the duo be able to put the pieces of this complicated puzzle together? The art team of Brett Booth and Joe Prado will join legendary Superman writer Dan Jurgens for “Booster Shot.” Action Comics number 993 will contain part one of the story, which is scheduled to drop on December 13. Meanwhile, Action Comics number 994 is expected on December 27.

Aquaman plans to “Take Back the Throne.”

For months, King Rath has turned Atlantis into a nightmare! Now, Arthur has gathered his allies (Mera, Dolphin, and his frenemy, Volko) in hopes to “Take Back the Throne.” While Rath and Arthur prepare for war, new villains prepare to make their move. Who are these new foes? Find out when the creative team of writer Dan Abnett, artist Riccardo Federici, and cover artist Stjepan Sejic present Aquaman issue 31 on December 20.

“Super Sons of Tomorrow”

Three of DC’s most popular titles: Superman, Super Sons, and Teen Titans all crossover for an exclusive four-part story in December. The Batman of Tomorrow has traveled to the DC Comics’ present day and has set his target on Superboy. Can Superman, Damian, and the rest of the Teen Titans protect the Man of Steel’s son? Find out when Superman & Super Sons writer Peter J. Tomasi joins an all-star group of artists including Doug Mahnke, Jaime Mendoza, Jorge Jimenez, and Francis Manapul for the first three parts of the story arc. Both Superman issue 37 and Super Sons issue 11 are expected to drop on December 20. Meanwhile, Teen Titans issue 15 is scheduled to drop on December 27.

Donna vs. Troia

The Titans have been broken. Wally West has been killed and many of the group’s members have been defeated. Donna Troy is the last Titan standing! But can Wonder Woman’s sister defeat Troia, a twisted version of herself? The Titans creative team of writer Dan Abnett and the art team of Brett Booth and Norm Rapmund provide the answers readers need as issue 18 drops in stores on December 13.

Darkseid Returns to "Wonder Woman"

One of DC’s greatest threats is scheduled to make his comeback in the pages of Wonder Woman. Darkseid and Grail have captured the Amazon Princess and have dastardly plans for her. But for Wonder Woman to defeat Darkseid, Diana must make a difficult decision: save her friends or destroy Darkseid forever! Wonder Woman’s creative team of writer James Robinson, artists Carlo Pagulayan and Jason Paz and cover artist Bryan Hitch will present the latest two parts of “Children of the Gods” in Wonder Woman issue 36 (on sale December 13) and Wonder Woman issue 37 (on sale December 27).
