My Favorite Anime So Far in My Life

Anime has always been my favorite pastime since I was in the tenth grade. I found out what anime genres I prefer and which ones I tend to stay away from. So far in the past four years of watching anime, I have composed a list of anime that I have fully enjoyed and my honest opinion of it. As you read this, some of you may have seen most of these while the rest of you might want to add this to your "Anime Watch List". Each of these anime are unique in their own special way and the creators behind them are to be equally appreciated in the same way. So as you have or will watch these anime, take the time to appreciate the artwork and storyline.

1. 'Ouran Host Club'

This was my very first anime I have ever fully watched. My friend came over one night and we got to talking about anime I should try and this was the very first one that came to her mind. If you already have seen this anime, you already know the characters are wild, crazy, funny and a bit dramatic. That's probably why I loved watching it. For me, I related to the main girl character, Haru-chan. She is just starting this really expensive and gorgeous school with all these rich people. She does not have many friends at first until she brakes a vase from one of the most popular clubs in the school, which is Ouran Host Club. She only becomes a part of this club because when she walked in she was mistaken as a client and then walk backwards into a rather expensive vase. So now poor Haru-chan must pay this debt off. Throughout the series, you will be able to see a certain love tension between two main characters, which I will not name due to that would spoil a lot for the show. It's a very lovely and hilarious show about developing bonds with people and how to really open up to people in a sense. I highly recommend this anime as a starter, fair warning....you are gonna be a little or a lot aggravated with the ending so heads up on that.

2. 'Hunter X Hunter'

This anime is by far one of my top three anime. I love the character development and the problems the characters face. This anime is about a 12-year-old boy who finds out that his father, who left him with his aunt as a baby, is a legendary "Hunter", so he makes it his mission to find his father. He goes through many adventures along the way, but first he must become a "Hunter", which is a person who is a licensed professional who specialize in finding magical beasts and many other treasures. They will go to great risks to achieve those treasures. Gon's father, Ging, was a top Hunter, but did not want his son to join him or have himself quit being a Hunter, so Gon becomes just like him. Gon and Killua, who is his best friend, do everything together once they meet up at the final entrance exam at the Hunter's association. Anywho, if I talk more on this anime I am more likely than not to give away the ending. If you really like adventure, anime, good character development, and fantasy, then this is the best anime for you! You can watch this anime almost anywhere, but Crunchyroll is the place I watched it because all the episodes are there. It has about 147 episodes, and the ending is not really cringy! So if you wanna go watch a fun-filled, magical adventure, then watch this as soon as you can!

3. 'Sword Art Online'

This anime was my second anime and was highly popular when I watched it with my two closest friends. We actually act like Asuna, Kirito, and Yui. I was Asuna, my friend closest to my age was Kirito, and her younger sister was Yui. That anime brought our friendship closer together, so that is a huge part of why I love the anime so much.
