In many cases, it only serves to make the show better. It hooks us deeper into the plot and makes us care more about the characters. With so much content on the monster streaming platform, what are the sexiest shows on Netflix? It's not easy to narrow down, but lucky for you, I've already done that work for you.

Some of the sexiest shows are comedies, while others are crime-dramas featuring loads of explicit scenes. Some are Netflix originals, and others have just been acquired for easy streaming. If you haven't seen any of these Netflix series, hurry home and binge watch them immediately.

Shameless is a show that has a little something for everybody, including plenty of sex. Shameless is about Fiona Gallagher, a young woman who takes care of her many brothers and sister as best as she can while her dad is in a perpetual alcoholic stupor. The real plot revolves around Hank trying to win back the love of his life, Karen, so they can give their daughter Becca the stable life she deserves.

Hank struggles to get it right over the years, as his career and appetite for beautiful women constantly side tracks him. While it's one of the sexiest shows on Netflix, Californication is never short on heart.

Orange Is the New Black takes place in prison, so naturally there is quite a bit of sex. Some of the sex can be pretty disturbing, because well, it's prison. But much of it is surprisingly sweet, one of the reasons the show has become such a massive hit.

Scandal is full of scandals, mostly sex related. It stars Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, a powerful DC player that has an affair with the president. Pope's job is to make scandals vanish — the only one she is unable to fix is her own.

Olivia is a professional fixer who makes problems go away before anyone even knows they exist. While it's not one of the more sexually explicit shows on this list, Kerry Washington alone is enough to make it one of the sexiest shows on Netflix.

There is as much sex in House of Cards as there is politics. Affairs and betrayals run rampant, often leading to horrible outcomes for the less powerful characters. The lies come from all directions in this show, and the cast (Kevin Spacey aside) is incredibly sexy.

If you've somehow never seen it, it's about majority house whip Francis Underwood, and his long journey to exact vengeance on those he feels wronged him — basically the entire government. It's one of the best shows on TV, and one of the sexiest shows on Netflix.

The Tudors

It's a show about Henry VIII, so you can guarantee it's going to be a shit show of blood and sex. Famously, Henry VIII was growing desperate for a heir and growing distant from his first wife, then the series moves quickly to the period when Anne Boleyn became his obsession. The Tudors is one the most binge-worthy history shows on Netflix.

This show takes place in 16th century England, and there is plenty of betrayal, controversy, and sex. It's a great example of a well-done historical drama, while also being among the sexiest shows on Netflix.

Narcos

Narcos tells the true story of the growth and spread of cocaine drug cartels across the globe, and the efforts of law enforcement to meet them head on in a brutal, bloody conflict. The show centers around Pablo Escobar, cocaine, and, of course, sex.

Some DEA agents are tasked with tracking Escobar down, which leads to tons of tight spots and blurred lines. The agents themselves get caught up in the rush of high-level drug trafficking, and the sex that always comes with it. Guns and drugs are sexy — always have been. This crime-thriller is incredibly suspenseful, and somehow, one of the sexiest shows on Netflix.

GLOW or the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, is a look at the lives of a group of women trying to make it in show business. The Netflix original is based off of the women's wrestling league from the 80s, and it features plenty of sex and great looking women.

It stars Alison Brie, as a desperate actress who will take any role, which is how she ends up on GLOW. The show's produced by Jenji Kohan of Orange Is the New Black and Weeds (both sexy shows in their own right) fame, and packs a lot of great stories to go along with the skimpy outfits.
