Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright Return
Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright have reunited to make a new film together. No Nick Frost?
Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright are working on a new film together. This is film will not be part of the Cornetto Trilogy as Pegg said the Trilogy had come to an end. But this certainly hasn't stopped them from coming back for a new Trilogy. Including this film, Pegg plans to make 3 more films within the coming 10 years just like the Cornetto Trilogy. The Cornetto Trilogy was made up of "Shaun of the Dead", "Hot Fuzz" and the latest movie from them "The Worlds End". These 3 films all had a reference to the Ice Cream called Cornetto.
"When we said the trilogy was over, it was because that group of films was over. They're all kind of related with each other and deal with a specific idea. There's a criteria to those films." - Simon Pegg
"The next thing we do won't do that, it will just be something else. It will happen. We made three films in 10 years and hopefully in the next decade we'll make another three." - Simon Pegg
The new creation has already got a name in the Pre-Production Stage of the project. But Pegg and Wright are keeping it top secret and not releasing it to the public just yet. We are all bursting to know! The new film will be a "a collision of crime, action, music and sound"
Nick Frost is also well known for being apart of the Cornetto Trilogy. But Simon Pegg left no clue whatsoever whether Frost will return or not. There's been no word yet as to when the project will start being filmed. At the moment Pegg and Wright are both caught up in other projects which are taking Number 1 priority.
We are all hoping that Pegg, Frost and Wright reunite as the 3 of them again and not just Pegg and Wright. It just won't be the same. Although Pegg and Wright are reuniting this year to recreate Shaun of the Dead but Phineas and Ferb this Halloween.
