'The Big Bang Theory' Is Set To Power Into Season 11

Howard was given news in Season 9 of The Big Bang Theory that would change his life. Bernadette announced her pregnancy which caused fans jaws to literally drop. Many fans of the show were expecting Bernadette giving birth would be the key highlight to the Season 9 Finale. However, we were given a shock twist that Sheldon and Leonard could potentially become stepbrothers instantly. So Bernadette and Howard are yet to welcome their baby into the big world.

Showrunner Steven Molaro has said they are "making it realistic" in terms of the pregnancy, and giving birth isn't something to jump right into. Molaro has also released to the public that Howard and Bernadette will begin planning everything ready for when the special and day comes. But if rumors are correct, things are about to take a devastating turn, as sources are claiming that Howard and Bernadette are going to encounter a shock miscarriage in Season Ten this September.

The rumored storyline is that Bernadette encounters a problem during her pregnancy which then leads to the tragic loss of their future child. This outcome has been one of the few possibilities to the show ever since everyone found out about Bernadette's pregnancy. It has been left confidential on which sources have reported about the miscarriage. Either the original post has been discarded due to containing false information. Or CBS has demanded the post to be removed due to the entire Season being knocked down as the main plot has been kicked out in the open air.

We all know that these rumors could be true and fans best prepare a shed load of tissues. But should we be alarmed that CBS nor 'The Big Bang Theory' have refused to make a comment or statement about the potential future of the happy couple? I would be. With the show itself seeing the rumors and refusing to comment, could lead to the storyline being 100% true. That or they are rewriting the main plot. Despite the new Season airing in a month's time.

If Bernadette does tragically have a miscarriage, there is a chance fans would be ripped apart as Bernadette may potentially give birth to a stillborn. Having a stillborn storyline part of a comedy sitcom would dramatically open up an entire new chapter of the show. Mixing two completely different genres together will show fans at home that even if you live what appears to be a happy and joyful life, bad and unexpected actions could occur at any point in your lifetime. No matter what it is.

But what does this mean for the beloved husband and wife if they do have a miscarriage? It could as always go two ways. One way being they exit the show, keep their heads low and let what has happened sink into their minds in a completely new city away from everyone. Or they remain amongst their friends and gain support from everyone and try again for a second baby. Either way, fans are likely to accept the Season storyline even if tissues are desperately required.
