With Marvels The Inhumans coming out in 2019, the question must be asked, who will play the King of the Inhumans, Black Bolt. Here are a list of 10 actors who could portray him on the big screen.

10 : Jason Segal

Before you immediately click off of this article because you think it is a joke, please don't. This will be my most out of left field choice, but it is still a solid one. There are reasoning's for my choice. Segal is known for mainly his comedy role as Marshall in How I Met Your Mother. But recently I watched the drama he starred in called The End of the Tour where he plays David Foster Wallace. His performance was unlike anything I have seen from him before. He is already getting 2016 Oscar buzz for his performance. He has the comedic draw, and dramatic skills to tackle the role, provided he bulked up as well.

9: Vin Diesel

While I am a fan of Vin Diesel, I am aware of his lack of actual acting range. He is the most rumored actor to be taking on the role, even though he is playing the role of Groot in Guardians Of The Galaxy. When your role is only saying the phrase "I am Groot!" I leads to the opportunity to a double role in the MCU. His brand of acting would be well suited as the King of The Inhumans. While I do hope Marvel branches out and searches for a better all around actor, I wont complain with Vin.

8: Gerard Butler

Butler has been out of the lime light for some time, but he still has a large following. His portrayal of King Leonidas in 300 could translate well to him playing Black Bolt.

7: Josh Duhamel

When I first started thinking about actors who could play Black Bolt, Duhamel is the first actor who came to mind. While he is not my first choice, I can easily see him in this role. He has a good mix of comedic and action roles under his belt to warrant consideration.

6: Matt Davis

Best known for playing Alaric Saltzman on The Vampire Diaries. In the show he shows off great range and acting ability. He is a unknown commodity, and this role would be a huge step in his career. I worry about his ability to be in the leading role for a franchise, but I think this role is a good fit for him.

5: Ryan Gosling

Gosling does not like franchises, but he has been in talks for both Doctor Strange with Marvel, and Batman for DC. I would say it is safe to say he is intrigued by the superhero genre. Perhaps a unknown property like Inhumans could peak his interest.

4: Trai Byers

Playing Andre Lyon on the new hit show Empire, he has out shined his other cast mates in acting ability. While this is another unknown name - and Marvel does tend to stay away from lesser names for their block busters - I think they should greatly consider this up and comer. He is talented and has the look of a leader. This is a race change, but the actor is well suited for the role. And if he does not become Black Bolt, what about as John Stewart's Green Lantern?

3: Joe Manganiello

He was turned down for both Superman AND Batman, by DC. What if his true calling was to bring Black Bolt to life on screen for Marvel?

2: Brad Pitt

One of the biggest names in Hollywood. His wife Angelina Jolie is rumored to direct the Captain Marvel movie; so could Bradgelina make their way to Marvel? He is obviously a talented actor, and portrays a leader on the screen with ease. I am surprised he has yet to be cast or at least rumored in a superhero role. But Black Bolt is a role that I think Pitt is the perfect fit for.

1: Scott Eastwood

On his way up in the acting world, he is the son of Clint Eastwood. He acted alongside Brad Pitt in Fury, and is getting ready to star in the next Nicholas Sparks film The Longest Ride. He is another up and comer at 28, and is perfectly fitted for superhero films. Eastwood could be a great front man to head the Inhumans project. Plus he is an Eastwood, I mean come on, he is just as cool as his dad. But he himself, is just as talented as his father.
