1. 'Robin Hood' (2018)

After an extremely high production budget of over $100 million... it has to hurt that the movie only made $65 million... and that's the global number. Robin Hood actually lost over $40 million dollars in this movie investment.

15 percent... that has got to hurt!

2. 'Ghostbusters' (2016)

The all female cast version of Ghostbusters never really stood a chance... as soon as the public heard it was coming out, people had already decided that they hated it. Which is too bad... because it has a great cast and the ghosts looked way better than in the original version.

The movie did make some income, but not as much as I'm budget of $144 million would have hoped to make. Lucky them, they managed to over 200 million worldwide.

The critics liked it... it was just the general audience that rejected the very idea of it.

3. 'Aftermath' (2019)

While the budget of the movie seems to have been kept pretty quiet, it's rumored to have been about $23 million. If that's true then someone probably got fired... considering the movie only made $9 million overall in the box office. This is really sad since a big name like Keira Knightly is in it.

As strange as this may sound, the fans seemed to have liked the movie. Mind you, that's out of 107 users...

4. 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms' (2018)

The budget for this movie was over 120 Million... and the investment barely paid off because the movie made over 170 million in the Box Office. However, it did end up on Netflix only one sad year later, so the movie lost its time in the lime light very quickly.

If you think that's bad ... their Rotten Tomato score is even worse ...

The entire movie had a very weird and awkward vibe to it... I'm glad I am not the only one who didn't like it.

5. 'Mortal Engines' (2018)

The production budget was $100 million and the global box office was only $43 million. They lost a lot of money... enough said.

The movie was declared by critics and the general public to be lacking in plot and narrative.

6. 'Happytime Murders' (2018)

It's true that the production budget was only $40 million. However, their global box office was even lower at $27 million. The reason why the movie did so terribly had nothing to do with advertising and nothing to do with the original idea. The problem is that, quite frankly, the movie was awful.

Surprisingly enough, the audience actually liked it more than the critics. I feel like the movie had so much potential... but it didn't deliver.

7. 'Hellboy' (2019)

Hellboy only made a profit of 40 million. Honestly, I was expecting better.

I know people didn't like it... but I am honestly still trying to figure out what went wrong.

8. 'Ocean's 8' (2018)

Despite Oceans 8's poor fan review and low budget... the movie made over 200 Million in profit.

I love that women are finally getting their needed screen time... but the all female cast re-makes are clearly not working... I think it's time for another strategy to get women only casts.

All I can say is... the fans were expecting more.

9. 'A Wrinkle in Time' (2018)

It had a huge budget of over 100 million dollars and it only ever so barely made that money back in the box office.

The general audience hated it... it was declared to be "wildly ambitious to a fault."

10. 'Pet Sematary' (2019)

Despite it's poor reviews, the movie did well against its budget. The movie made over $80 million in profit.

It doesn't matter if the critics likes it... the general audience gets the final say... more importantly they are determining factor for how much the movie makes.
