You not have seen most of these, but they are all very great shows. Enjoy.
'The Swan Princess'
This is the greatest princess movie ever made, and it's not even Disney. And it's on Hulu. The sequels are on there as well, but they aren't as good. If you haven't seen this, it's about a prince and princess getting to know each other to get married, but a sorcerer steals the princess and makes her into a swan during the day and can only be brought back by a vow of everlasting love. Will the prince ever find her?
'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids'
Now, this is a classic. A scientist with two kids accidentally shrinks them and the two neighbor kids. They end up in the middle of the backyard and have to get back to safety before someone mows the lawn, and hope that their parents can find them and turn them back to normal. It definitely is a 90s movie, but totally worth the watch.
'Your, Mine & Ours'
Just like Cheaper by the Dozen, but add six more kids. The North kids and the Beardsley kids are forced to be siblings because their parents (high school sweethearts) got married after their high school reunion. Now they have to get along. All 18 of them. It's a fun movie with a lot of classic actors millennials grew up with as kids.
Now, this movie is hilarious. Mom and daughter have always been at each other's throats, but one morning, after eating at a Chinese restaurant, their consciousness is now within the other, and they need to find a way to switch back. It has Lindsey Lohan, when she was normal, and the ever beautiful Jamie Lee Curtis.
'Muppet Treasure Island'
If you don't like the muppets, you need to learn to because they are hilarious in every way. They have humor for everyone involved. They actually have almost all the muppet movies on Hulu, but this one is my favorite. It is the story of Treasure Island told muppet-style with a few twists here and there.
Now, this movie is fantastic. It has Kate Beckinsale as a BA vampire death dealer who is tasked with killing lycans, or werewolves. She puts a foil in the lycans' plans and takes what they are after and uses it during the movie to bring them out and understand their plan. Evolution, the next installment, is also on Hulu. Beckinsale plays a wonderful vampire and knows how to kick butt on and off the screen.
This is such a cute story about an "exaggerating" story teller. He is on his death bed telling his son the adventures he had. As extravagant as they may sound, the son doesn't believe his wild stories. But the father tells him anyway, and the son tries to follow up and see if they were real. At his funeral, the son might be taken off guard. It's also a classic love story, so if you are in the mood for romance and adventure, this is the movie for you.
'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'
Bueller... Bueller... Bueller... This classic that I hope everyone has seen is on Hulu. Ferris is the biggest faker ever and he takes a sick day from school and goes around the city with his girlfriend and best friend having the time of their lives, just trying not to get caught. It's an unbelievable story that just might make it.
'Death Becomes Her'
This movie is freakin' hilarious. If you have never seen it, you should. It's about two women who want to be young forever. But it comes at a price, and they are fighting over a man to keep them looking fresh. You may not have seen it because it is an older movie, but watch as Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn fight over being youthful and beautiful.
'So I Married an Axe Murderer'
Mike Myers is a treat in this movie. He not only plays the main character, but he plays his father as well. He suspects that he married an axe murderer, and everyone says he's crazy because he can never keep a girlfriend because of her weird quirks. But he thinks that she is the one, until he finds out the news on the wedding night. Afraid to be alone with her, what will become of his life?
