Bored? Don't worry, I've got your back! I can help you find the hidden gems of Netflix. In this list, I made sure to include New Netflix Originals, new releases, and older beloved shows with a new season/episode. I even added a couple of classics just in case you want to watch them again. Trailer Park Boys will always be a good show for background noise.

1. 'Touca and Bertie'

If you haven't given Tuca and Bertie a chance yet, you really should check out the first episode. It's quirky, random, and full of titties! If you have already watched it once then I promise you that you will notice all kinds of little details the next time you watch it.

Pro Tip: Don't Skip The Credits!

"Ugh. I'm so bored. Nobody's here to listen to my great songs and supply with constant positive reinfo-fo! " - Tuca

2. 'Sucker Punch'

Sucker Punch is a classic! Every-time I re-watch it I fall in love with the movie all over again. A lot of movies make me think of mental illness as something demonic... but this one speaks the truth. A large portion of the movie is her new reality, her much more interesting story to help her cope with her reality.

After all, 'Sometimes the appropriate response to reality is to go insane'.

"Everyone has an angel. A guardian who watches over us... but yet they are not here to fight our battles, but to whisper from our hearts, reminding that it's us. It's every one of us who holds the power over the worlds we create."

3. 'The Rain'

Another amazing Netflix Original. The Rain follows the stories of two siblings after a post-apocalyptic event. They need to survive. How far will they go in order to stay alive? It's an amazing story filled with love, hate, and death. More Importantly, Season Two just came out! I won't give away any spoilers... but I will say this; this new season gives of a completely new tone than the first one.

Pro Tip: It helps to watch it in the original Danish voices, then you can just add english subtitles. The voice overs really take away from the story.

"Everything used to be so normal. So routine. So boring...but then the rain came. There was nothing we could do. You don't know what you have until it's all gone."

4. 'Always Be My Maybe'

Always Be My Maybe is a Netflix Original movie that surprised everyone in the best way possible. At first I thought it was just a chick flick, I put it on while my BF was playing video games... next thing I know we were both watching it, laughing our asses off!

If you liked The Matrix, then there is a guest star in the movie that you will love to see.

"I hope you have terrible karma and come back in the next life as a nasty little lizard and get stepped on by someone on a hike!"

5. 'Always a Witch'

A young witch gets wrongly prosecuted just to find herself in the future on a lonely mission for a 'friend of a friend'. There is only one rule for her to remember: 'Don't let anyone find out you're a witch'.

It's in Spanish, but as long you leave the audio in its original Spanish, and turn on the subtitles... it's still amazing! It's also not a bad way to try to polish your Spanish. If you're trying to learn Spanish.

"We fear women because they tempt... they seduce... and they think. We fear women who do not obey, who rise up, who question."

6. 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'

In the mood for some laughs? Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a comedy that follows the staff of the police officers who work at district Nine-Nine. Who knows what shenanigans Peralta is going to get himself into... and who knows how the other staff will join in. Click on this show for some comedy.

New Episodes on Netflix!

"Wait, are you dressed like Bonnie Bedelia in 'Die Hard'?" - Peralta

7. 'Trailer Park Boys'

If I have to tell you what Trailer Park Boys is... then maybe this show isn't for you. It is filled with crude humour, poor decisions, and even some gun violence. It is also, however, a Canadian classic... eh? There are endless seasons to watch and re-watch... and if you are longing for new material, there is always that new cartoon season to try. Just remember, low expectations is the key to being pleasantly surprised.

"What's a Shit Rope?" - Bubbles

8. 'Historical Roasts'

A Netflix Original Comedy series, that is extremely similar to celebrity roasts... but with a tiny hint of education in there... somewhere.

I like how the even the audience is dressed up for the right time period of who ever is being roasted.

"For 150 years he's remained scandal free and true to that nickname 'Honest Abe'... even his war was civil."

9. 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery'

Every now and again Netflix puts an old block buster hit on Netflix for fans to re-watch. I guess right now thats Austin Powers. I do enjoy watching old movies now that I'm older—I feel like I missed so many jokes just simply from being too young to understand them.

Also, it has Will Ferrell in it... briefly.

"Dr. Evil escaped, and had himself cryogenically frozen to return at a time when free love no longer reigned, and greed, and corruption ruled again."

10. 'iZombie'

A new season is out, and Liv is back on Brains!

iZombie is the 'death-centerted' TV show that left everyone watching it a their secret guilty pleasure... until of course one person admits to watching it, then suddenly everyone starts talking about how much they love the creative scenes of how Liv decides to prepare her meals... out of human brains.

"Resting Heart Beat, Ten Beats Per Minute." - Ravi"That must be hard. You know, dealing with this on your own." -Also Ravi

#BestOfNetflix

Thank you Netflix for being my main source of entertainment for almost a decade now. More importantly, thank you for constantly adding new content. Keep up the good work!... and maybe add like a 'random episode' button. I think that would be cool!
