'13 Reasons Why' Recap 5

Tony's car was smashed and he says that he can't tell the cops. He also opens up episode ten with his voiceover. Tony testifies after the girl Hannah "bullied". Tony reveals through his testimony and flashback that he beat up three people, one who broke into his car, one for selling drugs to his sister, and another for calling him a fag. Tony said that he owed Hannah because she lied and hid him after he beat someone up. He also confronted the girl Hannah bullied. Tony finally tells his boxing coach and possible love interest what happened with the old guy he beat up that also goes to the gym.

There is one girl Mrs. Baker doesn't want to testify but she does anyway. The reason why Mrs. Baker didn't want her to testify is because Hannah bullied her resulting in her dropping out. Jackie (the lady who was helping Mrs. Baker) left without notice, just a note. Someone ransacked the Baker's store, spray painting the windows as well. The cops show Mr. Porter and Mrs. Baker to the clubhouse but the pictures were gone. While putting the finishing touches on the store, Tony finds a hat that belonged to Hannah and he gave it to Mrs. Baker. The store is now for lease because Mrs. Baker is moving to New York to live out Hannah's dream. Mrs. Baker showed Clay Hannah's reasons why not.

Justin came back to Clay's house. So did Hannah's ghost. She said that he didn't say anything she didn't deserve. Justin and Clay plan to break into the clubhouse. Justin stands up to Bryce and testifies against whatever Bryce said on the stand. Justin found a note that said "You talk, you die." We see at the end of the season that Justin's mom's boyfriend is watching Justin. Justin and Jessica hook up at the dance.

Jessica's dad tries to confront Justin but Jessica stops him. Jessica started to sleep on her parent's floor again. Also, Nina didn't want to be involved with a guy because he was asking too many questions.

The principal confronted Mr. Porter about his testimony and he wasn't allowed to deal with students until further notice. Mr. Porter talks to Justin about what he needs to do to pass and graduate with his class. He also reveals that he may be replaced. Mr. Porter gets fired and he tells the principal that they need to do better.

In a flashback, we see that Sheri was in the clubhouse and that Bryce had a collection of pictures.

Alex finds a bullet in his locker. He also got a package at work. The package held a gun and a note that said "How do you live with yourself?" He remembers that he was there the night of Hannah's rape. Alex and Jessica go together to the dance. Jess finally lets him kiss her.

Zach confronts Bryce on the field and walks off during a game. He then catches Justin and Clay in the clubhouse. Zach hands them a box of pictures. Zach reveals that he left the pictures for Clay with the messages. Zach even was talking about quitting the team because of Bryce.

Tyler blows off Cyrus's sister and lies about why to her. Tyler's parents find out about Tyler and Cyrus blackmailing Marcus and they confronted him. Tyler tries to get things right with Cyrus so they can continue with their plan. He also takes Clay shooting. Cyrus ends his friendship with Tyler. Tyler gets in trouble and is sent to a diversion program. Cyrus gets suspended. Tyler returns to school and meets with Mr. Porter's replacement. He finds out that Cyrus's sister is dating someone else. Cyrus ends his friendship with Tyler. Tyler decides he has had enough. Tyler texts Cyrus's sister at the dance his plans to shoot up the dance. Clay tells his group a plan to keep the dance safe. Clay tries to stop Tyler before going into the dance. But Tyler leaves before anything happens.

Bryce lies on the stand saying that Hannah wanted him as more than a friend or a fling. Chloe left when he was lying. A huge fight breaks out because Justin confronts Bryce. Bryce's mom confronts and slaps him for lying and raping girls. Bryce may get punished by the school. The baseball coach confronted Bryce about the clubhouse. Apparently, he knew about it but didn't want it used for parties and stuff. Bryce and Justin get arrested for the assault and rape. Justin was only arrested as an accessory. Bryce ended his friendship with Scotty over all the stuff he did to Clay and his group.

Chloe and Jessica talk about the clubhouse. Jessica showed her the pictures of Bryce with other girls. Chloe confesses to putting up the pictures of the Jessica up on the whiteboard. Chloe agreed to talk to the lawyers about Bryce so he will get into trouble. She ended being able to testify for the Bakers. She ends up lying about being raped. Chloe tells Jessica she's pregnant.

Clay's car got broken into and the pictures were stolen. He then shows up later at Bryce's house with a gun and Justin stopped him from doing anything stupid. On the way home, they were followed but lost the car that was following them. Hannah's ghost said she wanted Clay to forgive her but he says he can't. Clay and Alex convince Jessica to go to the police. A whole group of students go with them including Justin. Jessica's dad thanks Justin for his courage. Clay finishes his tattoo. Clay's parents decide to adopt Justin. Justin shoots up still. They play the song Hannah and Clay dance to at the dance and Clay's little group of friends surround him.

Monty sets up Scotty so that Alex, Zach, Clay, and Tony can ask about the pictures. Monty gave Alex a gun that he pulls on Scott. Then Scott abandons Alex somewhere else but Clay rescues him. Scott and his friends corner Tyler in the bathroom beat him up and rape him with a mop.

The verdict comes back and the students who testified are there to hear it. They decided that the school district was not responsible which Bryce seemed happy about.

One month after the trial against the school Bryce goes to trial. Jessica makes a statement to Bryce and to the court. Hannah's story was told. Other women told their stories not only about Bryce but others. Bryce loses his scholarships. The baseball season was canceled. Jessica gets a protective order for school against Bryce but Bryce transfers to Hillcrest. Chloe sticks by Bryce. Justin gets a harsher sentence than Bryce. Nina burns the pictures.

Also, Hannah's family and friends pay tribute to her. Clay speaks at the service and speaks to the priest.
