Ever since we saw his cocoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, there's been speculation as to who could play Adam Warlock. While we await confirmation of his appearance in the MCU, I figured I would hop on the fan casting bandwagon for this character, and I hope you enjoy!

1. Liam Hemsworth

While Adam Warlock appears older than Liam Hemsworth, I feel that Marvel will be going for actors of any age, especially young actors. What young actor is better than Liam Hemsworth? He's already a natural blonde, he has a connection via his brother Thor, and has the physique and acting skills to bring this character to the screen perfectly.

2. Charlie Hunnam

Charlie Hunnam is coming up fast in Hollywood, and a role like this is just his speed. He has the look and skills to pull off this role, and it could further improve his fame greatly.

3. Jared Padalecki

Despite playing the same role for 10 years, Jared Padalecki is actually a great actor, and could put his all into bringing Adam Warlock to the screen. He has the look and the acting skills to pull off this role, so really the only thing keeping him from it is Marvel!

4. Mike Vogel

Mike Vogel needs a new gig since Under the Dome got cancelled, and what could be better than joining the Marvel franchise? He shares a strong likeness with the character, he's one of the best TV actors I've seen in recent years, and this role could make his career skyrocket.

5. Jake Abel

Abel, like all of the others on this list, has the look for the character, but can also play both sides of the scale really well. He can be the evil Magus just as well as he can be Adam Warlock, and has the skills for every situation.
