6 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Easter Eggs that YOU MISSED In the Trailer!

Because you were probably too lazy to look!

With Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom coming to theaters this summer, many fans are preparing for the release of the movie on June 22, 2018. However, what you might not have know is that the two trailers released for the film contain small Easter eggs that make references to the first Jurassic World and the original film from 1993.

These were right in front of you if you bothered to look.

1.) Raptor Shadow

The first opening shot of the second trailer shows the shadow of the "Indoraptor" coming up from behind a wall in a little girl's bedroom. This is actually a reference to a scene from the 1993 film, Jurassic Park when two children see a Raptor coming up from behind the wall of a restaurant. Both shots were filmed in the same manner.

2.) Raptor tapping its claw.

Again, in the opening of the trailer the raptor is coming into the little girl's bedroom. While the little girl is hiding underneath her blankets, the "Indoraptor" takes a step in front of the bed before tapping his middle claw a couple of times as if the creature were reasoning out their situation. This claw tapping is another reference to the original Jurassic Park film from 1993 when two children hide inside the Park Kitchen from two raptors. One child, a little boy named Timmy, looks underneath the kitchen island only to a raptor's foot tapping its middle claw.

3.) Jurassic Park Jeep

Do you see it?

The piece of rubble sitting there in the grass between Owen and Blue, the raptor is an old Jurassic Park Jeep. Do I need to explain what movie this car comes from? Most likely this was the same car the Dr. Alan Grant and Timmy were climbing out of back in the first film.

4.) "Dino-surgery".

Here in this picture, we can see what appears to be Blue, the Raptor lying down on a bed with a muzzle around her jaw and snout. In the trailer we see a young Asian veterinarian injecting blood into Blue. This shot is actually not a reference to the first film, but its sequel in 1997, The Lost World Jurassic Park. In one scene in the movie Jeff Goldblum's character, Ian Malcolm is performing surgery on a baby T-Rex with a broken leg and a muzzle around her jaw and snout.

5.) Jeff Goldblum

In the teaser trailer for Fallen Kingdom, we are shown a clip of a scene where Ian Malcolm is speaking before a congressional committee regarding the relocation of the dinosaurs from their home on "Isla Nublar" to London, England. When asked whether or not by the committee chairman if the dinosaurs should be saved or left to die, Dr. Malcolm responds by saying, "These creatures were here before us and if we're not careful, then they're going be here after us". His voice is later heard again in the trailer saying, "Life cannot be contained, life breaks free. Life finds a way".

6.) "Rexy's" signature roar.

Of course, who can forget about the Tyrannosaurs Rex? Near the end of the first trailer and the middle of the second, the Tyrannosaurs named "Rexy" stand over the body of a dead Ceratosaurus, which Rexy killed. She then gives her famous roar while standing victoriously similarly how she acted in the first Jurassic Park film after killing to raptors inside the visitors center while a banner that reads: "When Dinosaurs ruled the Earth" falls down in front of her.

Well those were six Easter eggs in the Fallen Kingdom trailers. I'm looking forward to seeing this film myself and I'll be sure to give my own review about the film myself. Mark your calendars for June 22, 2018.
