Action Figure Customs

Living the Dream

I originally started working for a business in 2015 that did custom action figures. I had a background my whole life with pen and ink, painting and some sculpting. I have always been great at arts and crafts, so I picked up the action figure creating really fast, in fact, I excelled way faster than expected! I parted ways with the owner, as we both had creative differences over styles. I couldn't make them how I wanted and had to paint just like he did. I moved to England in April 2016 while I was in the middle of my first custom, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series.

It took me several weeks to finish as I love the character and went "all out" to make it look good. I had some previous experience with sewing and wanted to put real clothes on him, so I hand sewn all his clothes, I even made his boots! I also used a real chainsaw blade for him. Turned out great for a first timer, so I made the next figure.

Zoom on The Flash was a really cool looking character, so I thought I would give it a try. On this one, I posed it and made it more of a statue than a moveable figure.

I then got in touch with someone from The Walking Dead. He played several zombies in the series, but the one he loved the most was the jaw dangler. This came out exactly how I wanted it to and he loved it!

The next one I did was just a redo of a Toxin symbiote from Hasbro's Marvel Legends.

I love the character because it was part Venom and part Carnage. This version did not do it justice, so I decided to make it better.

This is how it turned out. I am really proud of how my version topped a big company like Hasbro. I know that statement is a little opinionated/biased, but I am very happy about the way it turned out.

My next project was Alpha Gremlins. I wanted to make steroid versions of the cute and cuddles I grew up with.

I even threw in a Gremlins 2 character.

And Gremlins wouldn't be complete without a gremlin. Especially one as classic as stripe!

I loved the Deadpool movie. When I saw the trailer for the second one, I knew Peter was going to be my favorite character.

I decided to go for it and it came out great! I am currently juggling a couple projects—DOOM and Thanos related. Feel free to check my past, present and future projects out if you like.
