'Good Girls Revolt'

I have to admit; I watched this show one night because I was out of other things to watch. The first episode had me reeled in and rather quickly. This show takes place in a cutthroat newspaper office in the late 1960's and the women on the show are trying desperately to make a name for themselves in the industry. This show focuses on how unfair the workplace was in the 60s and how men took all of the credit for the top stories. I really wish there were more seasons made. It is worth the watch!

'One Mississippi'

This show focuses on a very sad topic, the death of a mother, yet somehow it adds humor to make it not look so bad. It is based on comedian Tig Notary's personal family experiences. The characters on this show will make you laugh and cry a little bit too. The most important thing for you to keep in mind is that this all happened in her life.

'The Night Manager'

Hugh Laurie is back and we could not be more excited! This show is about glitz and glamour and just how the lifestyle can also be quite corrupt in the world of business. 'Mr. Robot'

There has been quite a lot of talk about this show since it first began. It stars Christian Slater and Rami Malek. This show is now in its second season, but continues to focus on the psychological complexities of the main character, Elliot Alderson. Some of his hallucinations and ideas are pretty intense, but this is what makes the show worth the watch.

'Orphan Black'

Although, a BBC show, Orphan Black is now streaming on Amazon. For those who love science fiction, this is the show for you. This show is about Sarah, who has had a little trouble with the law in her past. She sees a woman at the train station who looks just like her. She begins to grown curious about who this woman is, and then she steals her identity. That is when the drama begins. Sarah learns that she is a clone and there are many that look just like her. This show is filled with excitement and moments when you say, "What just happened?"

'Catastrophe'

Made by Amazon, Catastrophe is about a woman who gets pregnant from a one-night stand. The plot twist in this is that she lives in London and he lives in Boston. There are plenty of comedic moments in this show, but it is basically about what the two of them plan on doing to make this weird situation work out for the best.

'Fleabag'

An Amazon show that deals with the crisis that the main character is having. She recently lost her mother and her best friend. She begins to make some poor choices in dating and romance too. This show focuses on how she gets through it all and it really shows how witty yet sad life can be.
