With the divorce between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp being finally settled, and all the drama surrounding her over the last couple months since she officially filed for divorce.

Amber faced horrendous backlash from her announcement of being assaulted by her now ex-husband Depp, she was rumored to have lost her role as Mera in The Justice League - but she didn't. So it's easy to see why Amber might need a night out - and who better to go out than Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne?

The trio of lovely leading ladies were out with a group of other friends in London this past week for a Rolling Stones exhibition then grabbed dinner and tried to get into a nightclub before ending the night at Chiltern Firehouse. These ladies prove that when things get rough, sometimes you just need to surround yourself with your closest friends.

We've seen this idea countless times in movies, but just for reminder's sake, here are 6 films that show just how much you need your friends.

1. Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion

Starring: Lisa Kudrow & Mira Sorvino

This movie is one of the greatest quintessential best friend movies. The pair make their own clothes, create unique dance routines, flip through the pages of Vogue together and they totally understand that friendship is more important than impressing anyone.

2. Bridesmaids

Starring: Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne, Maya Rudolph & Ellie Kember

Anytime you get Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig in a room, you're bound to have magic. Then after adding the remaining cast into the mix, you've got yourself a great group to get in trouble with. The women in this film share a strong bond that goes far beyond the laughs and prove that when you're surrounded by your friends, everything will turn out alright.

3. Clueless

Starring: Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash & Brittany Murphy

How can you not love the story of these three friends as they learn about love, life and everything in between. This film from the mid-90's stars a budding Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash and Brittany Murphy. The girls may have their bouts insults like "you're just a virgin who can't drive" - but ultimately, haven't we all thrown that out there at some point?

4. Baby Mama

Starring Tina Fey & Amy Poehler

It doesn't get much better than bringing Tina Fey and Amy Poehler together. But when they are put into two characters who shouldn't pair well, it becomes a perfect example of it's not always compatibility that makes friendships work - its the circumstances surrounding that friendship.

5. Mean Girls

Starring: Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert & Amanda Seyfried

Everyone has a mean streak in them, and when you first meet some of the girls in this movie you're mesmerized by just how mean girls can be. Mean Girls is a spot on portrayal of the pecking order that rises among teenage girls. Yet through all the drama, some of the girls realize what it means to have real friends that aren't superficial and shallow.

6. Girl Interrupted

Starring: Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie, Clea DuVall & Brittany Murphy

Now not all friendships start in a mental institution, but there's something about going through the shit of life together that brings people close. Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie bring to life their characters and truly show how strong of a bond can be built when you realize that you need each other.

Sometimes, no actually probably more often than not it's our friends that help us actually get through life and remember the good rather than dwelling on the bad.
