The year has already given us some clues as to where The CW network is headed with their lineup of DC'TV series, teasing the massive comic events expected to take place on The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and the newest addition of Supergirl to The CW. Along with the arrival of Supergirl to the DC'TV universe, the recent casting announcements for Season 2 of Supergirl could have inadvertently revealed the intent to integrate the Teen Titans, or rather a "Young Justice" team into the collective DC'TV universe built around Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.

In DC Comics, Young Justice is a property is based on a team of young sidekicks who become superheroes by forming their own team, similar to the Justice League. The Young Justice team operates on their own but have a direct line of connection with the Justice League under the circumstances of a threat being too dangerous for them to handle on their own.

Young Justice is relevant at the moment is because an iteration of the team could be forming within the collective DC'TV universe, already established on The CW network. The current hiatus between seasons of Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl will keep us waiting to find out if and how Young Justice will fit into the DC'TV universe when each respective series returns to television. But when the DC'TV universe presumes, Supergirl will be the defining element in bringing together the Young Justice team within the collective DC'TV universe.

Supergirl will bring together the Young Justice team.

The aspect of Young Justice forming may hard to believe since this year's San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) gave no indication of such a thing. There were tons of reveals this year at (SDCC) including the trailers for Season 5 of Arrow, and Season 3 of The Flash. Both of which gave us an in-depth look at what to expect when each respective series returns to television but no mention of Young Justice being set up. However, it was the casting announcements released at this year's (SDCC) that may have inadvertently given away the setup for Young Justice by announcing several pivotal members of the team joining the heroes of The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl.

1. Evelyn Sharp is becoming the archer, Artemis.

Madison McLaughlin as Evelyn Sharp

For one, Madison McLaughlin will be returning as Evelyn Sharp to become Oliver Queen's protege, Artemis. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is set to train Evelyn Sharp into becoming an archer like himself. As to why Oliver Queen has decided on taking in a protege is unknown at the moment but he may be preparing to leave the mantle of Green Arrow to Artemis / Evelyn Sharp. Along with training both Mister Terrific a.k.a. Curtis Holt and Wild-Dog as part of the new Team Arrow. Although, it's likelier that Oliver Queen (Amell) will remain the star of Arrow and Evelyn Sharp (McLaughlin) will have a role of her own as a member of Young Justice when the team unites. The aspect of Artemis joining the series is a big indicator of Young Justice being set up for the future.

2. The Flashpoint universe will turn Wally West into the Flash.

Then there was the announcement of Keiynan Lonsdale taking on the role of Kid Flash as well. Season 3 of The Flash is expected to introduce the Flashpoint timeline event which will depict Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) becoming the speedster hero of Central City, rather than Barry Allen. Wally West's heroic moniker may differ from Kid Flash as the Flash doesn't exist within the Flashpoint universe which means Wally West may very well be the "Flash" despite his costume being identical to that of Kid Flash from DC Comics. But for continuity's sake, let's just consider Wally West (Lonsdale) the Kid Flash of the Flashpoint universe.

The prospect of Wally West / Kid Flash becoming a member of Young Justice might not seem plausible at the moment, since we know that Wally West's existence as Kid Flash will be written off once Barry Allen sets the timeline of events back on their correct course. However, accounting for the Multi-verse existing within The Flash-Arrowverse, Kid Flash a.k.a. Wally West could become a member of Young Justice in the scenario of the team being established on an alternate Earth. To backup the theory of the Multi-verse becoming a relevant concept on more than just The Flash, a set photo from Supergirl appears to depict Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) in uniform with a chest-piece similar to the Tachyon Amplifier worn by Barry Allen when he bounced over to Supergirl's universe in Season 2. Is it possible that Superman will be traveling between Earths, recruiting young heroes to become the team of Young Justice?

Miss Martian has arrived on Earth and Cadmus is ready to dissect her for "science".

Sharon Leal as Miss Martian

Superman isn't the only hero from Supergirl who'll likely have contact with heroes from The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. The recent of announcement of Miss Martian being added to the cast of Supergirl provides us with another hint at the Young Justice team forming. Sharon Leal has been cast on Supergirl in the role of M'gann M'orzz, otherwise known as Miss Martian.

Miss Martian first appeared in an issue of "Teen Titans" but came to popular standing when the role of Miss Martian was highlighted on the animated, Young Justice series. Her role on the animated series could be the basis for the Miss Martian (Sharon Leal) becoming a member of the Young Justice team as well. From there, we can go on to the impending arrival of another pivotal member of Young Justice from DC Comics; that being Superboy.

Could Cadmus manufacture Superboy in their labs?

Another announcement which recently set the spotlight on Supergirl was that of Cadmus being included in the series. Season 1 of Supergirl brought Cadmus into existence but it will be Season 2 which utilizes Cadmus as the antagonist element throughout the first half of the season. The focus on Cadmus could also bring Superboy to life in the scenario of Cadmus creating a clone of Superman within that time-frame.

Superboy, Young Justice animated series.

In DC Comics, Cadmus is known for their black-ops research which revolves around the study and replication of alien life (e.g. Kryptonians, Atlantians, Martians, etc.). Their most notable accomplishment could be the cloning of Superman. Researchers from Cadmus are able to replicate Superman's DNA to such a finite point that they make a perfect clone of Superman. However, the Cadmus scientists expect the clone they created to become an engineered soldier when in reality, he winds up breaking free and becoming a hero instead, Superboy. It is then that Superboy creates his own path as a renegade despite being created by a corrupt faction like Cadmus.

Superboy, DC Comics.

The same events could plausibly take place on Supergirl. With multiple components of Cadmus becoming prevalent on the series, it wouldn't be far-fetched to believe that Superboy could be the next superhero to join Kara Danvers a.k.a. Supergirl.

The inclusion of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman opens up the possibility of Cadmus gaining a sample of Superman's blood in order to create Superboy. But more importantly, the addition of Superboy to Supergirl would introduce another member of the Young Justice team to the collective DC'TV universe.

All signs point to Young Justice assembling, Teen Titans a possibility as well.

Wow! There appears to be quite a few pivotal members of the Young Justice team from DC' Comics joining the collective DC'TV universe and for good reason too.

From the training of Artemis on Arrow, to the addition of Miss Martian on Supergirl, it shouldn't be too difficult to believe that either a Young Justice team or Teen Titans are assembling in the near future. And we can't fail to mention that Arsenal a.k.a. Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) is returning for Season 5 of Arrow, which adds another member of the Young Justice team from DC' Comics to the lineup of potential candidates for the live-action version of the team. To back up that claim, we simply need to recall how the collective DC'TV universe established on The CW has utilized every element introduced on either Arrow, The Flash, or Legends of Tomorrow.

The CW network hasn't been known to introduce heroes and villains on their DC' series without a purpose which means there is some reason for the specific additions of Miss Martian, Artemis, Kid Flash, and the Cadmus agency to the DC'TV universe. The CW could've decided on introducing a completely diverse array of characters to each of their DC'TV series, similar to Legends of Tomorrow but instead The CW has decided on introducing several DC' characters who share one thing in common.

The commonality which all these DC' characters share are their connection to Young Justice. All of the aforementioned heroes being introduced in the upcoming seasons of Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl have all been pivotal members on the Young Justice team in DC' Comics at one point or another. And with Cadmus being built up on Supergirl, it opens the door for Superboy to join the team as well. Taking into account the majority of the Young Justice team being introduced, the team is ready to be assembled but we still don't know how the team will be assembled; in order to fit within the context of the current DC'TV universe.

There's no evidence pointing to the contrary but the evidence towards a team of young superheroes assembling is stacking up pretty high. It's likely that the presumed team will also undertake a different title during their unification. The title of Teen Titans would be more fitting for the team to become rather than Young Justice to start off with.

Titans, DC Comics

This universe isn't big enough for all of us.

The television universe built around Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl won't be big enough to spread the spotlight on an entire team of superheroes apart from the starring cast, which means Young Justice/ Teen Titans could be assembling in an entirely different arena separate from the known DC'TV series.

There's potential for another DC'TV series to be erected, featuring the young team of superheroes. At the same creating an outlet for Young Justice / Teen Titans to be featured without being overshadowed by the long-standing heroes of Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash. But in the likelier scenario, the Multi-verse element will be utilized and the Young Justice / Teen Titans team will exist concurrently within the DC'TV universe; just on a completely different Earth inside of the Multi-verse. (Sidenote: It's very probable that The CW picked up the cancelled Titans series from TNT and is revamping the story to depict Young Justice / Teen Titans.)

Until confirmation is given by The CW of their intent to unite the Teen Titans or Young Justice, all these casting confirmations are meaningless. There's reason enough to believe that a team of young superheroes will be united in the DC'TV universe but there is no evidence to definitively credit that theory. My opinions aside, what do you think? Will a team of young superheroes be united within the DC'TV universe? And could they plausibly depict the Teen Titans or Young Justice? Or will the Justice League be formed before the Teen Titans? Y
