This post contains spoilers for Arrow Season 5.

Like them or not, #Oliver and #Felicity still have a strong fan following who are rooting for the reunion of one of their favorite couples. #Olicity, as the couple has been crowned, won MTV's 2015 Ship of the Year Award for their chemistry, thanks to #StephenAmell and Emily Bett Rickards.

Though there are plenty of fans who are against the relationship, even David Ramsay, the actor who portrays John #Diggle, drops hints that he believes in the couple. Most recently, he told Comicbook.com that he and his on-screen wife, Lyla, are like Oliver and Felicity in "five years," leading fans to believe he thinks #Olicity is the endgame:

"Audrey's working on Training Day right now, so getting her is part of the issue. But I like seeing them together, I like the dynamic. I like that she's a badass, that she's capable in the field, that she's smart, that she has a child. The couple has evolved. They're Felicity and Oliver in five years."

But what does #Arrow have in store for the beloved couple?

At a recent #Arrowverse PaleyFest panel in Los Angeles, it's no big surprise that the subject of the couple came up. Stephen Amell's response has fans buzzing and eager to see what's going to happen in the few episodes remaining this season:

"I will say that they have some really, really cool stuff coming up."

You can watch the full panel discussion below:

With the walk on the dark side that Felicity is taking, odds are good that she and Oliver are going to tangle over the choices she's made in the past few episodes — but could their disagreement over how each of them are fighting back against #Prometheus lead to a reconnection?

At Paleyfest, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said that having Felicity working with Helix is going to help her understand what Oliver has to deal with:

"One of the things we wanted to do with Felicity was have her walk a [bit] in Oliver’s footsteps. Have her experience a little bit of the moral ambiguity he lives with on a daily basis."

Understanding Oliver better might make Felicity come to terms with the reason why he lied to her about his son in Season 4. In her world, she saw things as black and white, but walking a mile in Oliver's shoes may make her see the shades of gray that he sees every day.

In addition, with Prometheus doing everything in his power to crush Oliver's soul, who will be there to pick up the pieces? If nothing else, Felicity and Oliver still share a bond that they can't change. And whether or not they reunite, one fact remains: they will always need each other.

So whatever cool stuff is headed their way, let's hope it's a new beginning.
