Arrow fans are always on the lookout for the return of Roy Harper, a.k.a Arsenal, because he brought a quality to the show that hasn't been replicated since he left. We had the opportunity to see him in the tenth episode of this season, but that wasn't enough screen time for us.

Well, even though you won't find him in the sizzle reel for the final few episodes of Arrow, according to the IMDB page of actor Colton Haynes, #RoyHarper will return to the series in the season finale, "Lian Yu."

While ordinarily we would be excited to see Roy Harper again, executive producer Wendy Mericle mentioned to Entertainment Weekly in April that some characters might be lost in the season finale:

"Chase has been trying to prove to the world and to Oliver that he's not a hero, he's a killer, and he's going to pull out one final, big whamo at the end that's going to leave Oliver reeling. We might lose some people."

Since #Arsenal hasn't been around much over the past two seasons, and there's no mention of his return in Season 6, his sudden reappearance in the finale makes us a little nervous.

Also of concern is that there has been no mention of Colton Haynes' return for the finale. Perhaps it is supposed to be a surprise. If that's the case, we can only hope it's a happy one, as many fans still haven't recovered from the death of Black Canary last year. Losing Roy Harper would be a kick in the stomach that would leave us all in abject misery.

In all fairness, though, Colton Haynes has a lot on his plate with his upcoming wedding, three movies (two of which are in post-production), and a possible return to the final 10 episodes of #TeenWolf Season 6. So it's possible, if things don't end well for Arsenal, that it is due to the actor's schedule and not an evil plan on the part of the producers.

Still, we can keep our fingers crossed that Roy Harper isn't a casualty in the Arrow Season 5 finale.
