I have recently re-read and devoured Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, and I must admit, it has always been one of my all-time favourites. Fun fact, its name comes from the temperature on which paper is known to burn, hence the tongue-in-cheek title of this post

Room 403
She had been working there for less than a year, the Hotel was nothing to write home about, but she couldn't complain it about either. It was an honest living. The building was old when she started, but as she gained skills and evolved, the place went under some remodelling, almost in tandem.

Capturing Loneliness
I've always been a big fan of street photography, from those candid shots of unsuspecting people, to interesting framing of widely-known landmarks. But there is one specific type of shot that has always perplexed me: those shots that seem to drag into infinity, with almost no one in them. Long, deserted avenues, bridges, and tunnels. Dr. Martens and Tarantino
If you have ever bought a pair of Dr Martens shoes (or boots) you know where this comparison is going. Both invoke this sense of carelessness and hipness, that is at the same time trendy and above any trend. Timeless classics with characteristics easily identifiable and that have carved their place in Pop culture and the common conscience. Not to mention that either invoke a certain type of edginess that is both too mature for its own good but equally young and youthful, a bit like punk or rock movements.

Pseudo Nomadism
Like most of us, namely my Millennial peers, I'm a pretty nostalgic guy, I know more cartoon theme songs by heart than formulas and concepts that I need for my studies. On top of this, erhmm, personality trait, I have become some sort of modern day nomad, I was fortunate enough to live in several countries throughout my "short" twentysomething life. If you put these two concepts together you have a somewhat interesting mix, and the super power to tear up when I return to my hometown, or when I eat local pastries, or when I ... this list would have gone forever so I decided to keep it rather short.
