976-EVIL (In the 21st Century)
Much as I detest remakes, especially 80's remakes, I think this one could use an update. Mainly because the reason I love HORROR as well as FANTASY movies is because to me they're what movies should be all about, cool special FX and escapism from reality for at least 2hrs. anyway. (Which was why I was probably 1 out of the 10 people who could sit through all 6 of PETER JACKSON'S JRR TOLKIEN films, in the theatre). Which is something I personally think should be considered a major accomplishment in itself.

BATMAN: INTO THE UNKNOWN PT. 1 - QUERY & ECHO
So by now, I'm sure everyone, even non-Batman and even non-comic book fans know that The Dark Knight a.k.a. Batman has an astounding and perhaps endless array of rogues. Names such as CATWOMAN, POISON IVY even new comers like HARLEY QUINN and PUNCHLINE have become well known by Batman and even "Non"-Batman fans alike. But what happens when I mention names like LADY SPELLBINDER? QUERY & ECHO? SILVER ST. CLOUD? JULIE MADISON? LESLIE THOMPKINS? RENEE MONTOYA? HELENA BERTINELLI aka THE HUNTRESS? Again, some folks may be familiar with these names, and some might not. Which is why I'm writing this article, to pay tribute to those ladies in Batman aka The Dark Knight's world their moment in the sun.

STEPHEN KING’S HOUSE
VOCAL DOCUMENT 10-19-2020 HAUNTED IMAGES: STEPHEN KING’S HOUSE Ok, technically this isn’t a haunted image at first glance. However, don’t let that deter you from assuming it is any less creepy. Low and behold fright fanatics, this is home of renowned Horror writer, Stephen King; in Bangor, ME. I truly am a fan of Horror, just ask anybody. Well, anybody close to me. Particularly in this case I have a long lasting infatuation with author Stephen King since I was in High School. For me, he is definitely an inspiration. After I finished High School I wanted to be a writer (still do).

TIS THE SEASON...TO BE SCARY
TIS’ THE SEASON…TO BE SCARY Hope you like the title. Well, suffice it to say Halloween and Christmas aren’t that different from each other, when you think about it. For instance – people get dressed up, they spend tons of money to decorate their houses, and there’s no shortage of confections to tide you over…and give you nightmares. Well technically I’m Jewish, and while I celebrate Chanukah rather than Christmas, I do love and celebrate Halloween…or at least try. It’s a little difficult when you’re 40 and can’t really go trick or treating anymore…unless of course, you offer to go as a chaperone with your own kids, or for your siblings kids. While it sounds like Halloween is typically for children, there are thankfully a plethora of activities to keep adults engaged as well such as costume parties and haunted attractions. Perhaps, one of the most popular genres in the film industry is HORROR movies. Whether it’s the new faces of Horror or classic characters being remade for audiences, it’s not hard to see why. In the past couple of years there have literally been new faces added to the genre as well as remakes of classic movies. However, the question is “Do they live up to their predecessors?” Personally one of my mottos is “Life’s no fun without a good scare!” a line that pays homage to Tim Burton’s 1993 Classic Film THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, but I suppose you might say, “That’s a Ghost of a different color.”

Gambit: The Wild Card Superhero
This article is about one of my favorite superheroes, (currently). Although he has been around since 1990, which I guess by comic book standards does make him pretty current. If you’re into comics and you are a fan of the comic book series X-MEN, then you are no doubt already familiar with the character of GAMBIT.
