Burning Lungs
This will all seem insignificant, small, to many. There are far greater griefs in the world and in my own life. This is not a grief, though, it is the harbouring of a burden. I know what I am about to say will upset some who are close to me but I no longer wish to lead the llama on to greener pastures. No longer do I wish to be burdened with the beast. It is only thanks to someone incredibly close and special to me that the actuality of my burden was alleviated at all in the first place. We all have our cruxes, our addictions, many of which we are unable to overcome. Mine was small and insignificant and yet even for its short lived naivety, it still weighs on me to this day.

A Healthy Dose of Reality
I am a 25-year-old-male. I’m a football fan both native and American. I am a lover of all things nerdy and geeky with a vast and seemingly never ending collection of comics spilling out into nearly every corner of my home. I am enamoured with classical literature and crappy sci-fi pulp novels from the 60s and 70s. I drink beer but have a penchant for cider. Film is my greatest of loves, no genre is off limits from horror to rom-coms to action extravaganzas. I love a great many things but one thing upon meeting me you would unlikely guess is my interest in any sort of reality TV. I’m opinionated often versing about the classics of cinema history and comics. That's if I’m not skating around attempting to perfect my ollies and pop-shove its. Least of all you would consider me a firm fan in the OG family of reality TV. So to many it comes surprisingly that I am a through and through a die hard fan of Keeping up with the Kardashians.

The End of the Netflix/Marvel Partnership?
With the Marvel by Netflix era seemingly coming to an end with the plug having been pulled on season three of Luke Cage, hot on the heels of the cancellation of Iron Fist. Disney have also finally announced their own streaming service making it feel like a curtain call for the Netflix Marvel collaboration. Daredevil launched its third season this past Friday and appears to be bringing to an end to its show long arc of Murdoch versus Fisk, marking potentially another nail in the coffin. But what new Marvel shows could we expect from the new Disney Play service? Or to put it more aptly what would I like to see fill those vacant slots.
