As we hear rumors of more possible Avengers joining the team, whether it’s name dropping on Captain America: Winter Solider or (rightful) fan hopes of more female characters, I’ve spent lots of time thinking of a few fan-casts for possible future Avengers.

These Avengers may not be the most well known, but have played their part on the team from time-to-time. I know some of these may not be your first choice, but take a look.
Ryan Atwood as Captain Marvel
After the Kree's first encounter with humans, Captain Mar-Vell is sent to spy on Earth and decide if it is a threat to the Kree empire.

Brother to the Grim Reaper, helped fight Ultron.
Emily Blunt as Quake
Superhuman with seismic (earthquake-producing) powers, is the illegitimate daughter of Calvin Zabo, the supervillain known as Mister Hyde, taken in by S.H.I.E.L.D.
Rufus Sewell as Swordsman
The Swordsman was introduced as an enemy of Hawkeye and the Avengers. The character has since appeared as both a supervillain and a superhero.
Zachary Quinto as Namor the Sub-mariner
The mutant son of a human sea captain and a princess of the mythical undersea kingdom of Atlantis, Namor possesses the super-strength and aquatic abilities of the Homo mermanus race, as well as the mutant ability of flight, along with other superhuman powers.
