No Spoilers!

One of the most anticipated films of 2019 has just hit theaters all over the world, and people everywhere are seeing it and watching it and loving it.

I was not considered exclusive enough to be invited to the New York City press screening (those fuckers), which is why I ended up watching the film in theaters AFTER it had already come out. Whatever. I'll make it there someday. But let's talk about the film with NO SPOILERS!!!

Here we go!

Avengers: Endgame is a superhero film written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and directed by the Russo brothers. It is the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a direct sequel to the 2018 film, Avengers: Infinity War.

This film picks up where the last one left off, with the remaining Avengers initiating a plan to undo the effects of Thanos's snap and bring their friends back from the dead.

Now, something I loved about the marketing for this film is the trailers didn't spoil a single thing. Very little is given away in the trailers, and that's why I will not be spoiling anything with the plot, because this film worked very effectively as the culmination of everything Marvel has been setting up.

And it was fucking amazing. I absolutely loved this film. It is one of my top 10 favorite films of all time, it has dethroned The Avengers as my favorite Marvel movie, and it has dethroned Us as my favorite 2019 film.

This is not gonna be an easy movie to talk about, because most of the shots in the trailers are from the first few minutes of the film. And I'm not gonna give away anything, but all I have to say is this film is the pinnacle of superhero cinema.

Some have been a bit skeptical of the film's three-hour runtime, and if you're worried about this being a boring movie, then don't be. This movie was the fastest three hours of my life. I was consistently invested in everything that was happening.

During the first two hours, you're always hooked on what's happening. You have character building scenes, you see our heroes dealing with conflict, and there are actually a lot of really funny scenes in this movie.

It's also a very emotional ride. I was so invested in the characters in this movie and the choices they needed to make, and I found myself holding back tears numerous times during this movie.

Now, the first two hours of Endgame do something incredibly interesting with the story and a lot of curveballs are thrown at each character. But the final hour of the film is the highlight. It's the climax that will hang this film forever in the superhero movie hall of fame.

Imagine the best superhero action-packed climax you can. Then double your expectations. That's what you should expect from the final action set piece of the film. It delivered everything I wanted and more, and I loved every second of it.

What more could I have asked from this film? Well, Hulk is the strongest Avenger and I LOVE the way Banner/Hulk was used in this movie, but I kind of wish he had a bigger role in the final battle.

I also kind of wished they had explored the relationship between the original six Avengers more. But anyways, now that I'm done nitpicking the shit out of this film, I can tell you more about how much I loved it.

There's a reason why I loved this movie more than other superhero films such as The Avengers and The Dark Knight. This film made me feel a whole range of emotions.

It made me laugh and it made me nearly cry during multiple scenes. It put huge smiles on my face, and it hit me emotionally. This film wraps up multiple stories and EVERYTHING that Marvel has made so far has been riding on the success of this film. And luckily, they delivered.

I'm gonna give 'Avengers: Endgame' a 10/10.

I can't sing enough praise for this movie. 10 out of 10. Five stars. A+. The best superhero movie of all time. Everything I was hoping it would be.
