It wasn't too long ago that Power Rangers premiered in theaters, drawing the spotlight back on to a franchise whose fame goes back to the '90s. While Power Rangers arguably revived the franchise and set up a new generation of fans to get into the Power Rangers craze, it was an element of the original Power Rangers series that has fans talking the most.

Jason David Frank and Amy Jo Johnson's Cameos In 'Power Rangers' Have Become Extremely Popular

Quite a few fans of "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" were excited to hear both Jason David Frank and Amy Jo Johnson would be in the film. Frank and Johnson portrayed two of the first Power Rangers in "MMPR", but appeared as bystanders in the recently released reboot. Since then, Frank and Johnson's appearances in Power Rangers have become quite popular.

Over the past week, both actors released images from their time filming on the set of Power Rangers. And with each new image, fan interest has increased. One would expect that hype around Power Rangers to die down well after the premiere but the craze has only continued.

To satisfy those who can't get enough of the Power Rangers, a full Behind-The-Scenes video of Johnson and Frank's cameo in Power Rangers was released via Frank's "My Morphin Vlog". Check it out below.

Hopefully, interest from audiences in Frank and Johnson's appearance will see them return in the following installments. And reasonably speaking, their presence as residents of Angel Grove in the Power Rangers reboot leaves their characters open to reappearing.

Will Johnson And Frank Show Up in the Sequel?

Now, Johnson and Frank probably won't be given featured roles in the sequel but they could believably take on the parts of existing characters in Angel Grove. Who knows, maybe Frank's character could be depicted as the instructor of a martial arts studio, making a nod back to the emphasis on Tommy's martial arts prowess in "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers".

As for Amy Jo Johnson, she could definitely play the part of a police officer in Angel Grove. She could be featured in the background of one of the Power Rangers' fights. That scenario would also set up Johnson to make a nod to her role on Flashpoint, a series which had Johnson in the role of a police officer.

For now, let's just be happy at least two of the original Power Rangers made it into the reboot. Who knows, maybe we'll see more of the original cast in the sequel.
