As The Big Bang Theory begins to premier its 7th season, fans are preparing to see the show's leading star get his own spin-off. In the show #YoungSheldon, there's no doubt that the show will give us a rather interesting spin on the character, and how oddly comedic the 9-year-old could be. Both shows are set to air back-to-back this fall.

Created by executive producers Chuck Lorre and Steve Molaro, the show gives us a glimpse at his younger days, as portrayed by young Sheldon Cooper. The show will present the life of Sheldon as he grew up in East Texas while embarking on his awkward, innocent, and his unique journey towards the Sheldon we know.

While there's no doubt that Sheldon Cooper is the centerpiece to the show, we will still get a nice little narration from adult Sheldon actor Jim Parsons who has played the role for years. Exactly how will this play out into the future character though?

The Possibilities Are Quite Endless, But the Most Likely Chance is Sheldon's Father.

There's no doubt that the death of George Cooper Sr. will be the likely candidate that could become the tragic event that forges Sheldon into the man we know. While little is known about Sheldon's past, we can assume that Mrs. Cooper will have her own little part in the weirdness that is Sheldon Cooper.

Another large event that could take place is Sheldon's breakthroughs in his explorations of physics and friendship. While there's little to no chance that we will see his friends Howard, Leonard, and Raj; he will certainly have his own set of unique friends at that point in his life.

Does The Show Absolutely Promise Some Tragedy In Sheldon's Life?

There is certainly the chance for the tragedy to occur, Jim Parsons has come out and stated that he will be playing a large part in the show by narrating the young Sheldon's life.

While we are certainly going to see Sheldon's father be portrayed by Lance Barber, we don't have much idea on how fast the writers will progress through young Sheldon's life and just where they plan on taking the show after its first initial season.

Young Sheldon Has a Lot of Possible Options Available to Cross-Overs

Even the show's executive producer, Lorre, had something to say about what bit of the show's backstory they have to work with. Let's take a peek with what they have to say about the shows endless possibilities about George's passing.

"We’re not going to play fast and loose [with that piece of Sheldon’s history], this is five years before that date that we discuss in Big Bang. People change and grow and develop -- and things happen over the course of many years. And we don’t have to follow an exact timeline. A season doesn’t have to be a year. It could be a couple months.” We have a lot of freedom with the backstory. There’s a great more deal to George … than we discussed in little bits and pieces on Big Bang."

Luckily for us they have stated that we could very well see the ripple effect hit both Young Sheldon and Big Bang Theory, which could end up letting us see quite a bit more of Sheldon's cynicism as it developes. While we know George's passing may not happen immediately, Lorre has also explained that we could see some of Sheldon's childhood events from Big Bang Theory play out. Let's just hope the show answers some of our biggest questions about Big Bang Theory.

Since the show seems in good hands, we can only hope that we get to see a young Sheldon Cooper have his own moments of shouting "bazinga," and his infamous moments of "I wouldn't do that if I were you" instances starting this November.
