These are the best books that I read in 2017. Not all of these books are new, in fact, quite a few of them are older but nonetheless these are the best books I read in 2017 that I wanted to share with you. If you are ever looking for a good book to grab do not hesitate to select one of these. This selection has a variety of books from different genres.

The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu

Reminiscent of The Hunger Games, this trilogy takes place in a war stricken, future dystopia of the United States. What was once the Western United States now stands the Republic, to the east is the Colonies. These two countries are pitted against each other in war. Among all of the chaos in the war stands a secret rebel group known as the Patriots. June is a prodigy that is being groomed for the Republic's military. Day is the Republic's most wanted criminal.
