If you're like me you've been wondering about the production of the Assassin's Creed movie set to release next year. Even if you're not like me you may have still been wondering, otherwise you wouldn't have clicked to check out this article.

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Either way, it's pretty exciting to have some new imagery to put in our mind as to how Michael Fassbender will look as an assassin. Thanks to Flickeringmyth we're getting a glimpse behind the scenes with these set photos.

From the background elements that we see it sure looks like we're set to see a true to period piece, which makes sense considering the video game that the movie is based on. We should be seeing some fantastic Spanish elements tied into the costume design and all the props.

Our first closer look at Fassbender's assassins garb looks incredible, and he sure looks like he's enjoying his time with this movie.

Could we see Fassbender don a couple variants as we progress through the movie? -- Possibly the right being his character, Aguilar, before coming to terms with his Assassin's lineage. It wouldn't be far-fetched to have Callum enter the Animus and experience the memories of Aguilar before, during and after his acceptance of being an Assassin since that's been a premise used in the video games.
