One of the most highly anticipated games of 2017 has finally arrived, Horizon Zero Dawn. With countless gamers and reviewers speaking high praise of the game, it makes sense that the characters within the game would make their way to countless cosplayers across the world.

The main character Aloy, is a young female hunter-gatherer and she already has several fans, including Meagan Orzel.

If you ask any cosplayer about their work, they'll tell you that it's a lot of work, but it's always worth the effort because of their love for the characters. Meagan fell in love with Aloy when the game announcement was revealed in 2015.

I was so taken by Aloy the second I saw the game announcement at E3 back in 2015. I loved the way Guerilla Games designed a character that encompassed tribal aspects as well as mechanical accents.

Her transformation from blonde bombshell to scarlet hunter wasn't an easy process, as it took Meagan about 4 months to develop. The hand sewn outfit took most of the time, along with adding the weathering and aged appearance, it was a very ambitious project for her. She wanted to make her outfit as game-matching as possible, even down to the bow movement to match how Aloy's bow worked in game.

With Horizon Zero Dawn's popularity on the rise, we'll likely see several other cosplay artists join in the artistry, but here are a few besides Meagan who are already bringing Aloy to life.
