The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn

Talia al Ghul Returns to 'Arrow'—but What Is Her End Game?
Arrow fans got a shock this week when Talia al Ghul, daughter of the deceased Ras al Ghul, broke into Oliver's cell at Slabside Prison. Not only had she survived the explosion on LIan Yu, she had also taken over Level Two of the prison, dubbing herself "The Demon," which is appropriate since she is the daughter of the demon who is now deceased.

In their last moments, people tend to show you who they really are. That’s why it’s better to use a knife because guns… are way too quick. I never started out like this. I never really intended for what happened to happen. But when your face looks like this… how else are you supposed to act? I mean give a man a mask, and he’ll become his true self. So, I guess you could say life has its up and downs but have you ever realized that we stopped looking for monsters under the bed when we realized they’re inside of us? That’s when it all started.
A DC Comics Sleeping Giant: The Bat Family
Even though the DC Extended Universe is set to unleash Aquaman next month and there’s been recent news of Ewan McGregor joining the Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey movie, DC and Warner Brothers have been chasing Marvel non-stop since Tony Stark set the stage for one of, if not THE, most successful movie franchises the world has seen. And with delays on Wonder Woman and Shazam!, to go with Henry Cavill moving on and Ben Affleck possibly, too, DC may have a chance to start over and do things the right way.

'Batman V Superman': Better than You Think?
So. Not many people like this film. In fact, some would call this the worst thing Warner Bros. have done to DC. But is it? I remember watching this film for the first time in the cinema. The hype was real. The trailer had me pumped. I was ready for this. And I was not remotely disappointed. Finally, an adult alternative to the glitz and glamour of what Marvel have done with their own heroes.
Why Joaquin Phoenix Is Meant to Be The Joker
When Warner Bros. announced their plans to develop a Joker movie separate from the DCEU, the internet quickly became flooded with dream casting choices that would protect the Joker’s place as one of the greatest villains in any medium. The role, pioneered by Ceasar Romero in the 1966 Batman series, was cemented by Heath Ledger (Dark Knight 2008), Jack Nicholson (Batman 1989), and even voice actors like Mark Hamill, who all gave notable performances. Although Leonardo DiCaprio seemed to be at the top of everyone’s list, Joaquin Phoenix officially landed the role in July 2018. This casting caught some people off-guard and given the negative reception of Jared Leto’s recent portrayal in Suicide Squad, fans are expecting more. Between his varied acting career, real-life experiences, and the gritty tone, this film is aiming for, we believe that Phoenix is meant to be the Joker, and here’s why.
Every Version of the Joker Ranked from Worst to Best
In this article, I will be giving my opinion and making a list of the worst Joker performance to the best without including animated joker performances. Yes, I know everyone has different opinions on who was the best and who was the worst. Here are mine:
'Man of Steel' Sequel
Recent internet rumors claimed that Man of Steel 2 wouldn’t be happening and that Henry Cavill, the actor who’s been playing Superman in the DC universe since 2013’s Man of Steel, was stepping away from the role. That instead DC was focusing more on their female characters like Supergirl.

Just recently, I was introduced to the animated Cartoon Network series Teen Titans and instantly fell in love. The characters are likable and fully fleshed out. The stories are exciting and fun. It's one of those kids that doesn't talk down to it's young viewers. So, when I heard there was a live action TV series in the works, I got excited. Then I saw the trailer.
