Marvel Superheroes
Welcome to the Marvel Cinematic and Comic Universe, exploring all things superhero and villain. Excelsior!
Scarlet Witch
Although we have an idea of what the next phase of the Marvel Universe will entail, the details are a bit murky, especially when it comes to the new mini-series events coming to Disney’s streaming service. The only one I am concerned about, however, is the future of Scarlet Witch. My favorite character, one of the most powerful comic book characters ever, and a very easy character to screw up if they don’t handle it properly.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 5 years ago in GeeksWhy Marvel Movies Beat DC Comics Movies
The Marvel movies beat DC comics movies for a variety of reasons. Marvel studios has worked consistently over the years to create superhero movies that fans love, and their dedication to their craft shows. While the DC universe has come out with various movies that have soared to the top of the box office, the majority of audiences agree that franchises like The Avengers are ultimately the movies that are more well-received by fans of the comics and the genre alike. Comic book movies will forever be in competition with one another, and there are some key factors that contribute to capturing an audience; but if you're like the rest of us, you probably agree that Marvel's movie-making ability goes unmatched.
Morgan E. WestlingPublished 5 years ago in GeeksThanos' Plan Explained
Hopefully, by now, everyone has seen Avengers Infinity War and is ready for Avengers Endgame to be released in April of this year. This will contain spoilers so if you haven't seen Infinity War or are caught up on your Marvel Studios movies, now is the time to turn back. Ok you have been warned what happens after this sentence is your fault. Anyways, we were left with a lot of burning questions after Infinity War. How will our heroes bring everyone back? Why did Star Lord do that? Why did Doctor Strange do that? Why didn't Thor aim for the head? Well that one is easy, to taunt Thanos while he died. Besides these questions and many, many more there is one that I think a lot of people miss. Why did Thanos wait this long and how did he do this with such swiftness? As you should know Thanos was introduced in the first Avengers movie. Thanos also appeared in Guardians Of The Galaxy. So why did he wait? Especially since he took 5 stones in a mere day virtually unchallenged. To sell more movies? Probably. However it is much more complex than that and really concretes how brilliant Marvel Studios is. So I will explain
Josh FaynePublished 5 years ago in Geeks'Avengers Endgame' Theory: Overlooked Details
So we are, less than two months away from the biggest movie of 2019, Avengers Endgame. The second part to last year's Avengers Infinity War and the final dramatic conclusion to Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hopefully, you are caught up in MCU movies up to this point, if not, this will have spoilers for multiple movies. I have seen Infinity War probably 20 times at this point because it really is one of the best movies out there and how many simultaneous stories that unravel it makes the 2 hour and 45 minutes thrill-ride feel like it is 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Also, I can attest to the fact that you never realize how important the older movies are until you watch Infinity War then watch the others. I will touch on that during this nerd out. Anyways, let's get into my theory and details that get missed easily if you aren't really paying attention. This is just what I think will be crucial, this is not anything confirmed I am just going over what I have noticed in all the MCU movies and how I believe our heroes will undo the snap. If you want to go into Avengers Endgame clean slated I don't want to ruin anyone's movie experience should my theory prove true. You have been warned and anything that happens from here is your fault.

Natalia "Natasha" Romanoff is the Russian spy that every true American loves; and really, who can blame us? She's got fiery red hair, amazing fighting skills, fox-like cunning, and positions herself well among fellow Avengers heroes. For a girl who has no superpowers of her own, she holds much more than her own.
Skunk UzekiPublished 5 years ago in GeeksTom Holland Is the Best Spider-Man
The best way I used to put this was; Toby Maguire was a good Peter Parker, but not a good Spider-Man. Andrew Garfield was a decent Spider-Man but an awful Peter Parker. Of course, Tom Holland is an incredible Spider-Man and adorable Peter Parker. Upon further analysis, Toby McGuire is barely passable as Peter Parker and a just awful Spider-Man.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 5 years ago in GeeksWhat's Going on with the New Gambit Movie?
Gambit is going to be one of the new Marvel superhero movies to hit theaters in the upcoming year—or at least, that's what we're being told. A movie featuring the comic book card thrower has been in the works for ages.
Riley Raul ReesePublished 5 years ago in GeeksWhy Critics Are Wrong About 'Venom'
Since its release last year in November, Venom has been a movie surrounded with debates on how good it really is. Even after the death by firing squad that the anti-heroes first solo outing underwent by critics; the movie still somehow managed to rake in hundreds of millions of dollars in the box office. Fans refused to make too much out of the mediocre reviews and decided to watch the movie and decide for themselves how good it really was. I myself took the same approach by giving it a chance before paying any mind to the unfair ratings that have been bestowed upon the public in the films name. Now, by no means is this title the best superhero film ever made. There are quite a few flaws that should most certainly be addressed when Sony begins production on the sequel, and thanks to the 800 plus million dollars that the film has gained (making it the most profitable superhero origins film of all time) a sequel title has already been confirmed. By now you have probably noticed the great divide in opinion between fans and critics regarding Venom's ratings. How exactly does a film that was given a meager 29 percent on rotten tomatoes, turn up to be one of the most profitable projects of 2018? That question is exactly what we will be investigating in this article. Something within this equation is doing very little to add up, in fact, the only thing that seems to be adding up is the frustration fans are having with these unreasonable, parasites we call critics. So hold on to your symbiotes because we'll be getting into the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the brutally ugly portions that factor into what was an over-all great flick. Although, I must warn you there will be massive spoilers awaiting ahead. So, if you have yet to see Venom than you may want to refrain from reading on (you have been warned).

Jonathan SimPublished 5 years ago in Geeks10 Reasons Why People Love Iron Man
When the Iron Man character was originally created, Stan Lee intended for the billionaire playboy to be one that everybody hated. His unpredictable nature and sarcasm were supposed to be something that fans abhorred, and his virtues were not (and still kind of aren't) necessarily in line with other heroes' at his inception.
Morgan E. WestlingPublished 5 years ago in Geeks10 Rumors About the Captain Marvel Movie
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has already seen a serious boom in popularity. It's a universe that has brought to life epic heroes like Deadpool, Wolverine, and Spider-Man (the Tobey Maguire version, anyway).
Rowan MarleyPublished 5 years ago in Geeks10 Reasons Why People Love Thor
If you’ve ever watched any of the Marvel films so far, you’ve definitely noticed Thor and all his glory. Played by one of the hottest superhero actors, Chris Hemsworth, this superhero is absolutely impossible to ignore. Bringing more than just good looks to the table though, he is the God of thunder in tales of lore, has unbelievable cosmic power, and, in every Thor film so far (think Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok), leads moviegoers on epic, action-packed, and entertaining adventures. The reasons why people love Thor aren't really a secret, but you have appreciate what he brings to the Avengers and the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large.
