Something Is Wrong With the Venom Symbiote
We're going to be jumping into Marvel's new Venom solo title. The two issues that have been released are fairly good, and they take Venom in a new direction. So what we are going to be focusing on today is a very brief history of Eddie Brock and the Venom Symbiote, and what has happened in the first two issues of this title so far. So a spoiler warning right here if you want to read it.
Just a guyPublished 6 years ago in Geeks10 Strangest Offshoots of Humanity in the Marvel Universe
Marvel Comic’s universe is full of strange and even uncanny people, places, powers and cosmic beings. Over seventy years of history and innovation have made the world that started in the late 1930s a complicated place. Humanity, as the comics’ prime focus, is perhaps one of the stranger elements, ironically. According to the Marvel database, humans could evolve into super-powered gods and for that reason, alone aliens are wary of Planet Earth. Despite the idea that this will occur in the far future, there are already a large number of divergent superhuman groups that have evolved away from Homo Sapiens to become something else. I’d like to take you on a whistle-stop tour of these many and varied evolutionary offshoots and some of their inspirations. Join me now as I take you on a journey through Ten Strange Offshoots of Humanity in the Marvel Universe!
Steve CotterillPublished 6 years ago in Geeks'Deadpool 2' Lacks Humor Level of the First, but Remains an Exciting Superhero Movie
I have to say, Deadpool is one of Marvel's best movies. It can successfully make fun of all of Marvel's clichés, and in addition to the typical superhero story, it manages to be pretty funny and have a few fourth-wall breaks as well.

I'm not even going to get into the actual story I'm going to talk about because I want you to read it that badly without having anything spoiled. It is most definitely a story that is worth the time to read. I mean seriously it's a great story with great art. I mean look at the picture above, the core art isn't like that, but tons of time and effort were put into this story and that's what makes it good. This is probably one of my favorite storylines I have ever read. Anyways, lets get to the content.

Okay, so I said that I was thinking about doing a post that was not this. I was thinking about doing a post on Kamala Khan's Family or a new DC character named Sideways, but I'd thought I'd promote lesser known and more underrated characters that I thought should be brought to people's attention. And this character is called...Silk!

Alright, so I'm getting into the original Ms. Marvel run by G. Willow Wilson. And what I am going to be talking about with respect to the character is her origin, her importance in the main Marvel Universe, and her importance in the comic book industry.
Just a guyPublished 6 years ago in GeeksOut of 10: 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'
Second of the Captain America Films—or last if you count Civil War as Avengers 3...or Iron man 4. That comment wasn’t even funny the first time, apologies. Cap, Black Widow, and allies react to the compromising of SHIELD, though it takes about two hours for that plot to surface. JOKING!

Okay so let's say you, a new comic reader, want to buy an X-men comic from the comic book store. Sounds easy enough right? Yeah, you're wrong. Once you walk in and see the individual X-men issues, you'll probably see titles like Weapon X, X-Men Blue, X-Men Gold, X-Men Red, Uncanny X-Men and trust me, a ton more.
Just a guyPublished 6 years ago in GeeksWhy Are Comic Fans Angry?
If you are familiar with the comic book community, you may have noticed that people tend to get angry about changes within the respective comic universes that they invest their time in. Sure, every industry has its haters, but it seems that though certain concepts have been met with backlash when introduced into the superhero story through all of comic history, it seems that it happens more so nowadays. Well, let's delve into comic history then, or at least what I know about comic history to try and figure out what the whole deal is. In this release, we will (I guess I will) discuss examples of significant comic book changes and the effect that it has had on the comic-reading community.
Just a guyPublished 6 years ago in GeeksThor’s Magic Belt: Stormbreaker Might Not Just Be the Only Weapon to Look out for in 'Avengers 4'
Although Thor: Ragnarok did mock Thor for recognizing himself as the strongest Avenger, Avengers: Infinity War removed all doubts as to his capabilities. One might even consider the God of Thunder as the strongest indeed yet (We know Captain Marvel is a strong contender).
Subham DasPublished 6 years ago in GeeksWhy Didn’t Captain Marvel Make an Entrance Sooner in the MCU And Have to Wait for Nick Fury’s Message?
Avengers: Infinity War was heaven for all comic book fans out there, featuring the most awaited clash between our favorite superheroes and the Mad Titan. Thanos has been dying to make an entrance since making the first peek-a-boo in the post credit scene of Avengers (2012). He was definitely influential and has been long tagged as the "villain with a heart." With the Infinity Stones, the team-ups, Black Order and so much more, this 2 hours and 36 minutes long film was the best Marvel movie to date. And if that wasn’t enough, the post-credit scene took everyone’s last breath away.

Clang! The sound of steel meeting steel was deafening. All around her, Asgardians and Wolves alike were falling. She struck down another invader, yanking her curved swords from its chest. It gurgled and spat its blood in her face before falling dead before her.
