While everyone is making last-minute costume decisions, DC Comics is all ready to set 2018 on fire!

GEEKS teases some of the hottest stories that you need to keep an eye on for this new year.

“Doomsday Clock” Continues

The most talked about DC Comics event continues! As the Watchmen universe invades the DC Universe, what happens next will shock readers. Geoff Johns, Gary Frank, and Brad Anderson will present the third chapter of this 12-issue maxi-series on January 24.

“Clay”: The Clayface Tragedy

Since DC Rebirth, Basil Karlo has redeemed himself throughout Detective Comics. But now, the Detective Comics creative team of writer James Tynion IV and artists Eddy Barrows and Eber Ferreira will bring Clayface’s tragic origin story to light. Find out what happened to Basil Karlo that transformed into the grotesque monster that caught the Dark Knight’s attention. The annual is expected to drop on January 31.

Prelude to 'Flash War'

As the Flash celebrates its march to its 700th issue, Wally West is about to make a decision that will accelerate The Flash title to the most significant Flash story of 2018! As Wally struggles to let his aunt Iris know that he has returned, Magenta shows up and asks him to come home to Keystone City. What has Magenta found that will turn Wally’s world upside down? Find out when writer Joshua Williamson and artist Christian Duce present January 31’s The Flash Annual.

General Zod invades 'Hal Jordan and The Green Lantern Corps.'

Hal Jordan and The Green Lantern Corps will encounter a deadly opponent in January. His name is Zod…General ZOD! When the tyrannical Kryptonian leader decides to rebuild his planet, Hal Jordan takes notice, and it leads to an epic confrontation between the Corps and General Zod. Who will win this throwdown? Writer Robert Venditti and artists Rafa Sandoval and Jordi Tarragona will present part one of this throwdown on January 24.

The Queen of Fables vs. 'Justice League of America'

One of the JLA’s greatest villains makes her return to the DC Universe! The Queen of Fables is back, and she has set her sight on the Justice League of America. Can Batman’s handpicked team tackle this wicked queen? Meanwhile, what happens when the Queen of Fables grants Killer Frost’s wish? The creative team of writer Steve Orlando and the art team of Neil Edwards and Daniel Henriques will reveal those answers when Justice League of America issues 22 and 23 drops respectively on January 10 and January 24!

Swamp Thing’s Winter Special

Superstar creators Tom King and Jason Fabok bring Swamp Thing into the DC Rebirth universe! The two creators will pay homage to Swamp Thing’s late creators, Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson, in an extraordinary one-shot adventure. Also, readers will see Len Wein’s final Swamp Thing tale with artwork from Kelley Jones! The special is expected to drop on January 31.

"Titans": Who is Troia?

Donna Troy has a wicked side to her! That alter ego’s name is Troia. She is destined to bring down both the Titans and the Justice League. Now, Wonder Woman and her fellow Justice League members want answers about Troia and will do anything to find them including shutting down the Titans…FOREVER! Writer Dan Abnett and guest art team Paul Pelletier and Andrew Hennessy will present this story on January 10.

The Return of the Silver Swan

But, Donna Troy is not the only Wonder Woman ally that is in trouble. Vanessa Kapatelis loved Wonder Woman to death, but however, she was manipulated by outside forces into becoming the deadly Silver Swan. Now, the Silver Swan is back in action and is ready to take down her former role model. Can Diana take down the Silver Swan? Find out as James Robinson and Emanuela Lupacchino present Wonder Woman issues 38 and 39, which will drop on January 10 and January 24 respectively.
