While Hurricane Harvey regains strength during its 2nd landfall, there has been an outpouring of support from charities and humanitarian groups looking provide aid in the wake of this devastating natural disaster.

Today, #Destiny2 developer Bungie has announced they are teaming up with the humanitarian aid organization Direct Relief in order to support those on the ground in Houston.

Today, Bungie's Community Manager David Dague (DeeJ) has sent out a message to those looking to help, detailing how to do so. He announced that fans of Destiny can head to the official Bungie Store, where Guardians (the fanbase of the Destiny franchise) can purchase a commemorative pin that will be shipped to their house, and even be displayed upon their profile as a unique emblem in Destiny 2 when it launches next week.

In his letter to the community, DeeJ also stated that all proceeds will be donated to Direct Relief to aid the victims of the storm. The Bungie community has stepped up to help charities in the past, such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Stack-Up.org, as well as many other worthy causes.

The Bungie Foundation and Direct Relief are now calling upon fans to offer relief in the form of clothes, food, water, and even medical clinics.

Even if you do not donate to the Bungie Foundation and Direct Relief charity, remember, there are plenty out there and you can help spread the word to those around you. As a community, us gamers are known for coming together to help those who need it.
