Did 'The Big Bang Theory' Really Just Leak A Major 'Justice League' Spoiler?

Since its debut in 2007, The Big Bang Theory is known for dropping minor and major spoilers from different franchises, some of which include Harry Potter and The Walking Dead. However, it appears the nerdy sitcom may have just leaked a major spoiler from Justice League.

Partnered with #BigBangTheory, Warner Bros. are offering one fan the chance to attend the movie's premiere courtesy of a contest website which has just been launched.

Spin That Wheel On 'Geekstakes'!

To have in the chance of winning, all fans have to do is enter 'Geekstakes' and spin the #superhero wheel, which has the #JusticeLeague team member's logos situated on it.

But, eager eyed fans have noticed that there's one logo on the spinning wheel that shouldn't necessarily be there - The Green Lantern's Logo. The website is currently available to the public eye to see for themselves that the Green Lantern is part of the team. On the other hand, it is suspected that The Big Bang Theory are in fact just trolling fans. However, it's an ever so slight coincidence that the Green Lantern has shown up on the competition website, which follows all the recent speculation and the Green Lantern making an appearance in the upcoming movie.

The Speculation On the Seventh Member

Recently, news broke that the soundtrack to the movie includes a track entitled "Unite the Seven", which is the same tagline for the movie found on the promotional posters.

The question on everyone's lips is who the seventh member actually is. Only six of the official members from DC have been revealed to the public. The six confirmed names are: Batman, Aquaman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Superman. So, have we finally discovered who that key seventh team member is?

It seems likely that the seventh member is the Green Lantern, primarily because of Henry Cavill's mysterious hints and teases towards the upcoming movie. Cavill posted a photo of a dog gazing into the distance via Instagram and the caption is very interesting'...The sentence is weird if you start with 'via Instagram'

Then came another Instagram picture which gives away a lot more clues. Cavill can be seen posing with a Green Lantern statue found in a shop. The caption to this photo reads similar to the other photo, but it makes a lot more sense.

Whether he's just playing with our minds, or it's a hint to that important seventh member, the puzzle pieces are starting to fit together quite nicely.

Final Thoughts

Of course, it might not be the Green Lantern after all, and The Big Bang Theory just happened to use him to finalise their poster for the spinning wheel on the website.

Fans will have to wait and see who that mysterious seventh member is when Justice League drops in theaters on November 17th.
