Snow White = Bianca

Sleeping Beauty = Aurora Rose

Cinderella = Ella

Belle = Belle

Pocahontas = Pocahontas

Jasmine = Jasmine

Ariel = Ariel

Bianca was kind but kept to herself. Animals were drawn to her, particularly when she sang.

Aurora Rose Tudor had narcolepsy. She was more outgoing and enjoyed being in nature. She tended to pick berries and flowers.

Ella tended to lose her right shoe a lot. She never knew why it was the right one. She knew this lady who would occasionally pop in on her, but whose presence no one else would acknowledge.

Belle was from France, but her parents did business in the United States so much that hey decided to move there. She liked to read a lot. She could only be pulled away from it by homework, which she actually enjoyed since she got to show off intellectually, or by a visit with her friends. She was just as social as Aurora. She found it illogical not to be.

Ariel was a very good swimmer from her days as a mermaid. She was a good singer too. She was destined never to smoke since she wanted to retain those skills. She was also very social.

Jasmine was from India. Her parents also moved because they did a great deal of business in the United States. She loved adventure, and was drawn to adventuresome bad boys. She love cats, particularly tigers.

Pocahontas grew up on a nearby reservation. It was so close that it bordered on Aurora's home. Pocahontas' tribe didn't like her spending time with whites, but realized children with no history of hatred toward them couldn't mean any harm. All the other parents came to realize the same thing.

Bianca's style was simple. She then began to delve into vintage/retro style, drawn to the style of the forties and seeing that it suited her thick black hair. She loved it so much that she kept it, even on days when she didn't want to be bothered with doing much to look good.

Ella's style was very simple and remained that way. She cared more about expelling as a person than excelling through style. It suited her anyhow.

Jasmine's style was semi-Indian, semi-American. She liked saris, but grew bored of only that, especially when her mother lectured her about taking pride in herself as part of her culture. Especially on those days, she'd Americanize her style even more, and would push the boundaries even more by dressing scantily. Anything to appall her mother.

Aurora kept her style relatively simple as well, unless it was formal. Then, she added some makeup and darker clothing and heels to a style that was otherwise very classic. The boys were drawn to her all the same, specifically because her style was so simple that it was mentally satisfying.

Ariel's style was mostly simple, but with a bit of flare. She would wear different color scarves to express her style or mood. It was fun to accessorize, as she honestly deep down agreed with her father that a style that was too flashy wasn't respectable.

Pocahontas's style was more Bohemian, particularly when she spent time with her friends. She wore jeans and cloth, or she wore leather. The leather in question had been worked on by some of her own tribesmen.

One day, when Ariel was staying over at Aurora's, Aurora was out picking her some flowers when she noticed a pair of cognac-brown eyes staring at her from out of a golden-brown face. It had long, black hair framing it and a long nose going down to full pinkish-brown lips and a rather pointed chin for a Native American. She had the low cheekbones, though, and the Asian-ish eyes. Her cheeks seemed gaunt, but actually rounded out her face very nicely. She had a widow's peak that was hidden by her hair's dividing at the tip where it would normally show.

Aurora just gently waved at her, which at first gave her a start. When she saw the smile that came with it, Pocahontas eased up. After a while of talking, she even agreed to come in and meet Aurora's mom and Ariel. They were both very friendly to her. It was Stephan, Aurora's father, that was wary when he heard that she was from a reservation and not integrated.

Pocahontas went back home at the usual appointed time in the evening so as not to draw attention to her new friendship. She didn't feel like explaining that to her father, the chief.

He eventually found out when she was so late that Stephan waited with her at the fence at which she'd met Aurora. When he extended his hand for the chief to shake it, he refused to do so. He knew that custom well enough; he just didn't trust another white man when all a white face represented to him was a reminder that he had to live on a reservation rather than roam and hunt free on land that used to belong to his people. That old anger would still sneak up on him and fill his being with all the anger of his tribe.

He briefly thanked Stephan for making sure Pocahontas was safe, then lectured his daughter on staying out too late as they walked back to the reservation.

The next day, Pocahontas spent time at the willow in whom she confided. Her friends that had adopted her, a raccoon and a woodpecker, had followed her there.

"Women and children see what it takes men a long time to." the willow said.

All Pocahontas could do was nod mournfully.

A boy that had just moved in next door to Aurora had a pug with him that he would spoil rotten. Sadly, he also took his anger out on him by yelling at him.

Seeing how Pocahontas treated her friends, the dog was much more drawn to her natural way of being. He burrowed his way under the fence where the raccoon had already made a small hole in it and bounded up to Pocahontas and starts licking her face. She laughed, She was familiar enough with this behavior form having interacted with wolves. The boy finally climbed over the fence after falling after Percy, the pug, and getting no response. He snatched at Percy, but to no avail. He had now adopted Pocahontas. She even took his collar off him and let him roam around without it. At the end of the day, Percy went home with John, but it wasn't long before he spent all his time with the raccoon and woodpecker. He even learned to scavenge from the raccoon. He came t live with him inside his den.

In downtown, Jasmine's home stood in the middle of the normative homes It looked like a mini-Taj Mahal because her parents wanted to show they were proud of their ancestry. She was tired of the speech they'd give her every time the topic came up. She learned not to bring it up.

She would visit her friends when she would. They were too intimidated by her house to visit it, even though they were more than welcome to. Her mother would even put out saris on the bed in case they wanted to try them on. They never did. Anytime they went shopping, they'd start out by going to her house, then be driven to where they would shop and have lunch by her mom in her SUV, since it was one of the few vehicles that could fit them all. There was Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel, Bianca, Ella and Belle. Pocahontas had to stay on or near the reservation. She was only allowed at lunch.

They decided to have a sleepover and invite her since that only included dinner. Pocahontas' guardian and the man her father hoped she'd marry drove her there. When he met Jasmine's mother she even joked about the Indian conflation name and how they were the people they'd been misnamed for. He went back to the reservation in amusement and couldn't help but relay the joke to the chief. He then relayed it to the whole tribe the next day at a campfire meeting. They laughed.

Pocahontas then spent half her time at Aurora's house since they would keep an eye o her there, and half her time on the reservation. Once she found out who her father hoped she'd marry, she didn't want to spend any time on the reservation and even wanted Aurora's mom to adopt her. The chief didn't want to lose his daughter, so he said she didn't have to marry the one he chose. Their totems didn't even align.

She would soon find the wolf she wanted to run with in one of the men at Aurora's school. John Smith, not John Radcliffe the one with the pug, would prove to be her romantic center. He was her male counterpoint, and she knew it instinctively even as he walked up to her from the playing field. He was the coach. He had wild, red hair and a bushy beard and kind blue eyes. He had these big, welcoming hands that enveloped her slimmer ones. He had a ruddy complexion and a disarming smile. She couldn't help but like him. She also kept having this feeling that they were instinctively meant to be.

It was confirmed when they first kissed. She was helping him put away the sports equipment and they kept bumping each other until John, getting the hint of the moment, kissed her and she could do nothing but kiss him back. He got a silly smile on his face after that made her giggle and smile back.

From then, she sept her evenings having an early dinner at his house. He'd cook for her and she'd enjoy his food. Out of gratitude she'd wash the dishes.

One night, he made venison. It was a combination of watching how good she looked eating it and her acceptance of his cooking creativity that made him decide that was the night.

She had planned on going back home, but found herself happily waking up the next morning in his arms. She leant her head into the book of his shoulder and sighed happily. John had already cleared it with her father and since she was an adult he agreed, but reminded him about condoms. He laughingly agreed and left.

Aurora did the typical thing. She fell for the quarterback of the football team and he liked her too, so he asked her out. He loved how she was so natural and that animals were drawn to her, even his dog, and that she had such a beautiful singing voice.

Ariel wound up with the captain of the swim team, David. His hair was black and wavy and his skin was perfectly tan and his eyes were deep pools of blue she wanted to sink into. They double-dated a lot with Aurora and her boyfriend. The two boyfriends even got along.

Jasmine came to run a foster home for cats out of her apartment. She also did Youtube videos about the cats to get them adopted as well as videos about different kinds of makeup. She liked it so much that she turned Belle on to it, who started doing Youtube videos about book reviews.

Aurora did movie reviews and makeup for paler complexions since Jasmine had darker ran skin covered.

Belle and Jasmine had met because both sets of parents were from other countries and did a good deal of business in the United States. They got along, and at a dinner one night they happened to both bring their daughters. The girls were so bored with their fathers' conversation and being the only ones their age there, so they talked.

The fathers were both importer-exporters, so while they were talking about that, the girls found themselves the only ones at the other end of the table, something the mothers had orchestrated.

They wound up living next door to each other. They then told the others in their group of friends about the building they'd moved into. With how low rent was, even with a pool and a gym in the complex, they all moved in as close as they could. The boyfriends wound up moving in with them.

Jasmine met Aladdin when she was visiting Ella at her new job. TI was a typical nine-to-five cubicle job, but it suited her. She needed the structure, and couldn't see herself doing Youtube videos about anything. She'd met her then boyfriend a few days before graduation. She was waiting for Pocahontas to finish helping put the gym equipment away with John so she could speak to her about accompanying her to prom. He saw her, though she didn't really notice him except in passing. A few days later, he went up to her at her locker and asked her to prom. She checked with Pocahontas, who was already smiling and happily agreed.

Ella's dancing lessons finally paid off. She was the best dancer there. One last time, she lost her shoe, the right one like always.
