Dear whoever finds this note,

I don't know if you'd believe me, but if you do... then you are a true believer. A believer in the powers that be. My name is Franklin Magick. I'm obviously, a doctor from New Jersey. I was born in Bank City, but moved to a small town in the middle of New Jersey when I was eight years old. Since then, I've gone on to do many great things. I got my PhD, I've advanced the medical field farther than it has been in all of history, and, you'll probably get a kick out of this, I became a wizard. Well, more sorcerer than wizard. When I felt I couldn't move up in the world of medicine anymore, I believed I could move up in the spiritual world. I've met with gurus, with sacred women and children, but I hadn't gotten as much spiritual enlightenment from those places as I did in the Himalayas. I heard from a man in India about a temple hidden away atop Mount Everest, at the peak of the world. A place that could survey the entirety of life on Earth, and more outside of it. At first I did not believe the man. I said there was no possible way there could be a temple on top of the world's largest mountain. The last thing he said to me was that only the entrance was there, and my journey began there.

I traveled to Nepal, to a base camp at the base of Everest, and began my ascension. It was a treacherous trek, with many chasms and caverns and caves. When I finally reached the top, I had thought I wasted my time, that is, until, I saw him. A man. Sitting atop a stone at the edge of the summit, surveying the land. He turned to me, asked me if I was ready to begin my journey. I responded with an instant yes, and a door had opened where the man was sitting. I stepped through the door, exiting the realm that was my life, and beginning my new one.

I stayed in that temple for years, training, studying under a man who calls himself the "Sorcerer Supreme." When I entered the temple, I could not believe my eyes when I saw the wonders that the spirit can do. Men and women, using magic. Actual magic. Not like the stuff you see in movies, or read about in books, but actual magic. I couldn't really believe anything I heard there for the first month. But that didn't keep me from training. Every time I trained, I learned something new about my newfound power. Whether it's a new spell, or if it's the fact that my tattoos glow whenever I use my powers. The tattoo fact gave me an idea, which lead me to getting full tattoo sleeves.

My training ended about a month ago, and there's a long trek down the mountain. I wish I didn't have to leave so soon after what happened to the Master, but my training is up. I only wish that the acolytes of Arvandus could not find our location as soon as they did. Arvandus will pay for what he has taken from us, and I must be the one to give him what he deserves. But until then, I must return home. To my childhood home. I must return to Bank City.
