Greetings from the Dragon Ball Universe. I hope the fandom is geared up and ready for the second installment of the Dragon Ball Heroes Anime. If you are not familiar with Dragon ball Heroes, I would encourage you to check out my full breakdown of what Dragon Ball Heroes is and where it came from. But, just in case, I'm going to give you a brief summary of what you absolutely need to know about Dragon Ball Heroes.

Spoiler alert this post contains information on the upcoming Episode of the Dragon Ball Heroes anime, please be advised. The Japanese airdate is July 16, 2018.

Dragon Ball Heroes got its start as a card game and has since grown into an arcade game found exclusively in Japan. Players are able to build teams by getting cards of almost every conceivable character from the Dragon Ball Universe and you can use them to battle through different missions. These missions have also been taken and made into Manga's that you can view online. Recently there has been a complete update on the arcade game and that has given rise to the new name Super Dragon Ball Heroes, not to be confused with Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball fans owe a lot to the game as it reignited the culture in Japan and is a big reason why the recent movies were made and so well received. You should also be keeping your eyes out for the next movie that will be airing this December; check here for more information.

Kanba the Evil Saiyan

We were given our first glimpse of the evil Saiyan in the last episode, and all indications show that we will get more of him in the second episode which has been confirmed will air July 16, 2018, in Japan.

After sharing the first episode of Dragon Ball Heroes, we learned the episode will be coming to the Internet after an exclusive viewing. There is no confirmation on a third episode. So we should be looking to see if they are able to wrap up the story in the second episode. Fans will have to stay tuned for now.

Make sure to keep in mind that this is a special promotion, not a full blown anime or movie. It is intended to be an advertising tool for the arcade game and is a part of the official canon storyline of Dragon Ball. That should not stop you from enjoying it, especially with the showdown that is being set up between the evil Saiyan Kanba and our heroes. Truthfully, this is a gift to the fandom. It will feature some of the most unique fights we have seen to date.

The final bit of hype for this special is the Golden Cooler fight. But, there are still plenty of other mysteries for our heroes to unpack. We will see how they wrap up this story, next week. For a recap of last week's episode check the summery bellow and make sure to check for the movie information.

Goku and Vegeta’s training with Whis gets interrupted by Trunks' love interest and former Pilaf Gang member Mai, who tells them that Future Trunks has been captured. Fu emerges and tells the group that Future Trunks is on the “Prison Planet”, a planet where warriors from alternate timelines and dimensions fight as part of Fu's experiment. The trio travels to the planet where they meet an alternate version of Goku, Goku Xeno. Goku Xeno immediately turns Super Saiyan 4 and attacks Goku, who reacts by transforming into Super Saiyan Blue. The fight ends with them firing Kamehameha waves and Fu explaining that the planet is inescapable until you find the dragon balls. Both Gokus agree to work with each other. Future Trunks is seen locked up with Cooler, who is demanding a Dragon Ball. Fu observes the planet, and is seen telling the evil Saiyan Kanba that his time will come.
