Welcome Dragon Ball Super fans!!
I am yours truly, Michael, and today we have got "breaking news!!"
It is a sad day, guys.
We have the provisional titles for the last 2 episodes of "Dragon Ball Super," which are episodes 130 and 131.
Even though we got sad news, I am so excited guys for what's to come!
So, if you guys enjoy this post, please share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, or other social media platforms.
Here we go!
Proof of Provisional Title for Episode 130!
Herms98 on Twitter has posted this and it says, "Provisional Title for Dragon Ball Super Episode 130, airing March 18th and it is titled, "An Unprecedented Super Showdown!!"
Now guys, this is real!
This is not fake, but it is a provisional title.
What typically happens with provisional titles is this, the final title or the one that gets published, tends to be similar to the title, but it is more detailed and a little bit longer. Sometimes, it is a little bit different, but for the most part, the provisional title gets it right or gets the main idea and the concept correctly.
So, let's talk about the "Unprecedented Super Showdown!!"
Ultra Instinct Goku and Jiren!
Pretty much, the title is going to say that it will be the "final fight" between Jiren and obviously (Mastered) Ultra Instinct Goku. However, it appears that something may happen in episode 130.
Now, let's talk about episode 131.
You guys ready, let's go!
Proof of Provisional Title for episode 131!
The provisional title for Dragon Ball Super Episode 131, airing March 25th (the last arc) and it is titled, "Goku, Until the Day We Meet Again," which sounds vaguely familiar.
That is the final episode of Dragon Ball Super.
Proof of title similarities to Dragon Ball GT ending!
It is very similar, as Herms98 points out, to the last episode of Dragon Ball GT, which says, "Goodbye Goku... Until the Day We Meet Again."
Now, if you actually go back to the last episode of Dragon Ball Z, which we do know that the writers plan to be consistent with the finale of the arc.
Proof of title for the ending of Dragon Ball Z!
The last episode of Dragon Ball Z is titled, "Goku's Next Journey."
So it is very interesting that the writers are actually taking it word-by-word.
It is very possible and here is my prediction.
I believe that at the end of episode 130, Goku is going to "sacrifice" himself. Goku is going to die and that he is not going to be "resurrected" by the Dragon Balls. So, if my prediction is correct, then this makes sense as to why the sentence is starting with Goku.
This is being directed at Goku and is not coming from him. It is almost like a "goodbye" message, "Goku, Until the Day We Meet Again." So, it appears that this ideal ending is going to be a very sad and emotional ending for Dragon Ball Super.
Will Goku sacrifice himself?!
This is happening on March 25th.
Now, if you guys are sad about this, do not worry because, on that same weekend, Toei Animation has "confirmed" that they are going to be revealing new information about the upcoming Dragon Ball movie, which will be coming out in December in Japan.
So what is going to happen after episode 131?
Is Goku dead?
What about the other characters?
What about Jiren?
What about the other universes?
Universe 7 fighters!
So, I believe that the other universes are going to be resurrected. As for Android 17, I do not think he is going to be resurrected. I believe Android 17 will remain dead and Goku will sacrifice himself, but I also predicted that in January of 2019, that we are going to get a return of Dragon Ball Super.
So that is my prediction.
On January 2019, Dragon Ball Super will be coming back to television screens, but it may be under a different name. Maybe something like Dragon Ball Ultra or something else. I strongly believe that the arc is coming back and when it does, I do not think we are going to follow Dragon Ball GT.
Goku ('Dragon Ball GT' Ending)
Even though the last episode of Dragon Ball Super looks very similar to the ending of GT, I do not believe that the writers are going to take anything from GT. The writers are going to do their own original thing and I believe that Goku is going to come back for the next Dragon Ball series. Now, I do not think that Goku is going to come back immediately.
I think it is going to be maybe a few episodes where Goku is still missing in the whole arc, which means that Vegeta is going to take the mantle as the lead character and the protector of Earth. If Goku does sacrifice himself, this means, in my opinion, that Gohan needs to step up. He is not going to be able to be a "scholar" all his life. Gohan is going to have to take up the leadership position in the absence of his father.
Gohna is going to be the person we all know and love.
Goku and Uub!
So obviously, we have Uub in the mix.
Uub is going to be training somewhere to help his fellow comrades to protect Earth. If Goku does sacrifice himself, we are not going to get the ending we saw in Dragon Ball Z.
So, that is very problematic.
We are not going to get that exact same ending.
So it can go either way.
Personally, I think Goku is going to sacrifice himself and leave like he did in Dragon Ball GT. In these last episodes of Dragon Ball Super, I want something emotional, sad, and that is going to shock me to the point where I would cry and just lock myself in a room for a week. That is the type of ending I believe would make the most sense and have the biggest impact, as well as the hype leading toward the returning series of Dragon Ball Super.
I think that is a much better ending.
