New Information on Story, Plot, and Returning Character Revealed!

We've got some breaking news!

I did a post talking about the upcoming Dragon Ball movie. We have the staff members and a release date "confirmed."

Now, we have more information coming directly from Akira Toriyama!

I am yours truly, Michael, and today we are going to break it down right now. This is coming from the official website and there is a lot of juicy information.

So let's jump right in!

Proof of Akira Toriyama's Comments!

Now, above are the comments from Akira Toriyama.

It says,

"The Dragon Ball Super movie this time around will be the next story that takes place after the anime that is currently on TV."

Before I continue, this is specifying that it is a Dragon Ball Super movie. Now before it was being stated that it was a movie, we were left wondering, is it really "Super" or something else. The movie will take place at the end of episode 131.

Now, if episode 131 is going to end with Dragon Ball Z, it will end after Z and might include Uub

Who knows?

The comment continue to say:

"The content will shed a little light on previously unexplored topics having to do with Frieza and the Saiyans, and I think it will be an enjoyable story that serves up a long-awaited formidable opponent."

Now, some people are going to be very pissed off about this.

The Emperor known as Frieza!

We already have the Frieza arc in Dragon Ball Z on "Planet Namek." Also, he is currently in Dragon Ball Super at the beginning and towards the end of the "Universe Survival Arc." We also saw the whole movie of "Resurrection F" that was dedicated to Frieza. Now we are going to have another movie where he will be a part of the topic.

Now I am not sure if he is going to be a part of the new Dragon Ball movie. We do not know his fate after the end of the Super arc.

At the very least, this is going to explore topics and the "Saiyans."

The Saiyans

Now, we do know the other Saiyans are "dead" currently, so is this something related to the end of Dragon Ball Super? Maybe someone used the "Dragon Balls" to bring back the Saiyans? Or is this going to be connected to Universe 6 Saiyans?

There are so many possibilities.

I am not going to speculate because we do not have enough information. Toriyama's comment continues and says:

"With 2013's Battle of Gods, the previous installment "Resurrection F," and now this time too, I've been the one writing the stories. I've also been drawing quite a few things for them, like design illustrations. I'm actually as busy as ever, and if I wasn't serializing anything, I'd have time to think about the anime with which I used to not have enough time to be involved (laugh). So on that note, I very much hope you look forward to it!"

Now, this is very true.

The Z Fighters!

I did a post breaking down Akira Toriyama's involvement in Dragon Ball Super and the staff members. For example, Female Broly, Kale. That was an idea brought to him by the anime staff at Toei Animation. Then Toriyama used that and created Caulifla

That is not all.

Now Toriyama finishes off his comment by saying:

"By the way, I think the highly popular Dragon Ball Super manga, drawn by Toyotaro is going to see more developments different from the T.V. anime or movies, so please look forward to that. Be sure to check it out, too!"

Now honestly, he added that to promote the manga. Now after the end of the Universe Survival Arc, we will be getting the manga on a monthly basis. So, that is why Toriyama has that information there. Yes, it is true that Toyotaro's version of the manga for Dragon Ball Super is a little bit different than the anime. So it might even go beyond the arc by December, based on the speed that is currently at right now.

Ultra Instinct Broly

It is possible that when the movie comes out, the manga is going to be ahead of the anime.

So that is very interesting.

Is it going to cover parts of the movie?

We do not know.

I am very excited for the rest of Toyotaro's work. So that is what we have so far. I am expecting to get some more information within the next two weeks. As I mentioned before, we are going to get more information on March 25th.

On that weekend, there will be more information released in Japan and possibly at the end of the credits in episode 131. We might see either the future of Dragon Ball Super or the upcoming movie.

So keep an eye out for my profile.

I will be posting if they have a teaser or a trailer. Whatever they have, I will be posting it there.

Those are all the spoilers I have for you today!
