In the past week, a whole new slew of images from "X-Men: Apocalypse" have been released online. And fans are hard at work, breaking down every inch of every new image released. The newest compilation of photos comes from Comicbook.com, wherein we get a more in-depth look at the central cast of X-Men: Apocalypse. Apart from the new images of the central mutants in the film, some other images representative of past events in the 'X-Men' universe have also made their way into the compilation of images released. One of those images, gives us our first look at actress, Rochelle Okoye in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). Rochelle Okoye is mostly known for her roles as the stunt double in many films, ranging from X-Men: Days of Future Past to Deadpool. Now it appears that Okoye has landed a supporting role in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). The image is embed below.
From the image, we can see that Okoye's character is performing a ritual of some sort. It appears as if she's in the middle of the ritual which transforms En Sabah Nur into Apocalypse; speculative, of course. The casting of Rochelle Okoye in X-Men: Apocalypse was likely done with the intent to utilize Okoye specifically as a stunt-double. However, the image embed above proves otherwise. We can clearly see Okoye as an actual character within the film. The scene obviously takes place in ancient times, during the rise of En Sabah Nur as Apocalypse. A piece of information that may enlighten us on Okoye's potential role in X-Men: Apocalypse is that of her casting credits on the IMDB page for X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). Okoye is listed in the role of a character by the name of Plague'. In Marvel Comics, the character withholding the moniker of Plague' was an interchangeable code-name for the Horsemen of Apocalypse, Pestilence. It's possible that Rochelle Okoye will be playing the Horsemen, Plague in the film; accounting for the image embed above, giving us a clear look at Rochelle Okoye in X-Men: Apocalypse.
