Shear's to the fools who dream, indeed!

Everyone loves poster parodies that put a smile on your face and are as punny as possible. Thankfully we have the brilliant creative minds of this year's #AcademyAward-nominated #Zootopia to satisfy those poster cravings you may have. The directors of the flick, Rich Moore and Byron Howard, as well as screenwriter Jared Bush created the visual spoofs of some of 2016's most popular titles with Oh My Disney.

'We Decided To Pay Tribute To The Best Films Of 2016'

Moore and Howard spoke with The Hollywood Reporter on why they tackled the parody project and how they still feel compelled to revisit the fictional world of Zootopia:

"Even a year after Zootopia was released, we still feel compelled to create for this world and these characters... So in the spirit of this awards season, we decided to pay tribute to the best films of 2016."

Here are the parody posters which include a cameo from a lamb for #LaLaLand, Chris Paws and Furry Foster collaborating for #HighOrHighWater and a pig's take on #HacksawRidge.

1. From The Director Of 'Hippo-Splash' Comes 'La La Lamb'

  • Film It Parodies: Damien Chazelle's La La Land
  • How Many #Oscars It Is Up For: (14), including Best Motion Picture of the Year.

The tagline for this parody states, "shear's to the fools who dream." What I can assume this film follows is a plucky lamb with the dream of taking her hair styling skills to the forefront. I cannot wait to check out the third collaboration between Ryan Foxling and Emu Stone.

2. 'Fantastic Cheetahs And Where To Find Them' Introduces The World To A Cheetah Of The Law

[Credit: Oh My Disney]

  • Film It Parodies: David Yates's Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
  • How Many Oscars It Is Up For: (2), Best Achievement in Costume Design, Best Achievement in Production Design.

If the journey of finding this fantastic cheetah leads to an elated cheetah cop with a bag of chips waiting for me, I will do everything in my power to find all of them.

3. Tom Furrd Tackles Both The Screenplay And Directing For 'Nocturnal Mammals'

[Credit: Oh My Disney]

  • Film It Parodies: Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals
  • How Many Oscars It Is Up For: (1), Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for Michael Shannon.

Nothing says "SUPER DANGER" like an angry nocturnal mammal scowling at its movie poster.

4. The Inspiring Shrew Story Of 'Fru Fru Foxter Jenkins'

[Credit: Oh My Disney]

  • Film It Parodies: Stephen Frears's Florence Foster Jenkins
  • How Many Oscars It Is Up For: (2), Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for Meryl Streep and Best Achievement in Costume Design.

Meryl Squeak (#MerylStreep) and Shrew Grant (#HughGrant) collaborate for the film that proudly declares: Every Squeak Deserves To Be Heard

5. The Riveting Crime-Drama 'Hell Or High Otter'

[Credit: Oh My Disney]

  • Film It Parodies: David Mackenzie's Hell Or High Water
  • How Many Oscars It Is Up For: (4), Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for Jeff Bridges, Best Original Screenplay and Best Achievement in Film Editing.

The Chris Paws (#ChrisPine) and Furry Foster (#BenFoster) pairing in 'Hell Or High Otter' features the looming presence of Academy Award winner, Jeff Otterton (#JeffBridges).

6. 'Hogsaw Ridge' Showcases The Incredibly Muddy Story Of One Pig's Terrible Mess

[Credit: Oh My Disney]

  • Film It Parodies: Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge
  • How Many Oscars It Is Up For: (6), Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for #AndrewGarfield, Best Achievement in Directing, Best Achievement in Film Editing, Best Achievement in Sound Mixing, Best Achievement in Sound Editing.

This parody certainly sounds like the most entertaining one. The acclaimed director of Bravehog (Braveheart) focusing on the heralding plight of a pig who makes a terrible mess when the illusive Order arrives... Somebody fund this please!
