A Bowsette Adventure

Thirty years of rejection. Inviting a princess to more than one of your castles, introducing her to your kids, even protecting her from giant robots. Nobody had ever done more than this to show someone their love, and yet it was all in vain.

This heartbreak had driven the lovelorn king to the brink. "Maybe I should just keep jumping up and down on this bridge of bricks until I create a hole wide enough for me to fall to my own doom. Game over would be preferable to this eternity of loneliness!"

The king was suddenly interrupted by one of his blue robed wizards. "My liege! I've discovered a new magical item that you're going to want to see immediately!" The king looked up to see little Kemrit holding a golden crown with a pink and white cloth decorating the center.

"What does it do?" asked the king.

Kemrit lowered the crown on his own head and with a brilliant flash of smoke and pink sparkles, his body transformed into one nearly identical to the princess which the king so loved.

Anger flared in the king's eyes. "Why would I ever want someone else to have that kind of power over my heart? I'd give anything to reclaim my heart for myself! I'm the only one who can be trusted not to break it!"

Kemrit quickly removed the crown and in another flash of smoke and sparkles, he was back to his old self. His hand was shaking as he offered the crown to the king. "So sorry, my liege! Take it and do what you want with it."

The king took the crown into his large hands. It was frail enough that he could easily crush it in his hand. He also considered making a smaller hole in the brick bridge he was standing on, one not wide enough for him to fall through himself, but wide enough to drop the crown down into oblivion. Then another thought entered his mind.

"If I put it on, I can show myself the love I've dreamed of showing her. I can finally end this cycle of sorrow." And with that, he placed the crown upon his own head. The whole world seemed to glow pink so brightly that he had to squeeze his eyes shut. A moment later and it was finished.

Kemrit stuttered, "My king! You look stunning!"

"IDIOT! Do I look like a king? I'm Queen Bowsette! Bwa ha ha!"

Her laughter, a more feminine yet still menacing chuckle, bellowed out of her new body.

Bowsette then went to examine herself in a mirror. Her figure was nearly identical to that of the princess she used to love, albeit a much taller version. Her teeth were still razor sharp, and her dress was a tight black number. Her ears came to a point, similar to that of an elf. She also had retained her spiked turtle shell on her back.

"I love the new me! Time to take myself out for a date!" she proclaimed, as she walked to a large painting of her old self. It concealed a safe with a To-Do list, numerated items she had always planned to do to give her princess the time of her life had they ever gotten married. Bowsette was instead going to treat herself to everything on the list! Item number 1? GO SHOPPING!

---

A few hours later, Bowsette was walking through the front doors of Ultra-Super-Mega-Mart. It was the largest grocery store in all of Grocery Store Land! Her high heels clicked loudly as she walked towards the grocery carts. Picking the next in line, she walked with slow, deliberate strides. This was her way of showing off her new body to the world.

The cart she selected had a bad front wheel. It squeaked and would randomly spin around, causing Bowsette to nearly fall. After it happened a few times, she lost her cool. She picked the cart up over her head and smashed it to pieces on the ground. She then stomped on those pieces a few times for good measure. With a "Hmmph," she turned back and selected another cart.

The other customers would look at her, then do a double take as they gasped in shock at what they saw. This pleased Bowsette greatly! But the trip wasn't just about looking terrific, it was about shopping!

Bowsette approached the drink aisle. So many options to choose from! She had never done her own shopping before, always leaving it up to one of her minions to take care of. She read the names of each of the beverages as she walked down the aisle. All of them claimed to be refreshing. Finally, she was drawn to a stack of cans that claimed to be as refreshing as the dew from a mountain. Something about the green and red color scheme really attracted her, so she filled her entire cart up with them. "Whew, that was a lot of work! Thankfully I'm done shopping so I can pay and get out of here."

A few gold coins later and Bowsette was outside with her mountain of cans. She decided to crack one open to celebrate! At first, she stuck out her pinky so she'd look as elegant as possible, but boy did it taste good! Soon she found herself pouring the can into her mouth as fast as gravity would allow, slurping down that delicious, green, carbonated beverage to her delight! She crushed the can in her hand to make sure she wasn't missing any of it. Finally, she wiped a stream of it that had escaped her lips. It had been running down her face and could have stained her dress, but she caught it in time.

"Ahh! What a great day! I wonder what I'll do tomorrow! Bwa ha ha!"
