Okay, okay I'll admit I watched Hanna Montana at one point in my life. It was one of those shows that got so much hype before it's release and just the sole fact that I enjoyed Billy Ray Cyrus' music. I gave it a shot, and the rest is history. As much as it pains me to admit, I actually enjoyed the silliness of the show and the characters were entertaining.

So, for me it's crazy to think that 11 years ago, Hannah Montana launched the career of the one and only #MileyCyrus as well as brought a refreshing change of pace to the collection of Disney Original Series that had been building since 2000:

  • Even Stevens (2000)
  • Lizzie McGuire (2001)
  • That's So Raven (2003)
  • Phil of the Future (2004)
  • The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005)

Hannah Montana arrived on the Disney Channel on March 24, 2006 and has been seen as a guilty pleasure by countless media outlets as through it's four seasons was met with it's fair share of criticism. Oven cited for provocative themes and being a negative image for the younger audience, it remains one of the most successful Disney series to date. With the series marking 11 years since being released, I thought we'd take a look at where the stars are now.

Miley Cyrus (Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana)

  • Age in 2006: 14
  • Notable Projects: Bolt, The Last Song, So Undercover

Miley Stewart is a nationally touring musician with legions of fans, but she simply wanted to experience what a real teen life and keep her fame a secret.

We've all seen here in the news, and we've probably seen more of her than we wanted to, but Miley's career was catapulted thanks to her starring role on Hannah Montana.

Emily Osment (Lilly Truscott)

  • Age in 2006: 14
  • Notable Projects: Young & Hungry, Cleaners, Kick Buttowski

Lilly Truscott is Miley's best friend who learns the truth and sticks by her side through thick and thin.

Emily also garnered a great deal of fame from Hannah Montana as she now stars in the ABC Family hit series, Young & Hungry.

Mitchel Musso (Oliver Oken)

  • Age in 2006: 15
  • Notable Projects: Monster House, Pair of Kings, Phineas and Ferb

Oliver Oken is a super fan of Hannah Montana who is also friends with Miley, yet he doesn't know that they are the same person until he is finally shown the truth.

Mitchel Musso hasn't gained quite the face recognition that other cast members, but you should recognize his voice in several animated series most notably Jeremy Johnson in Phineas and Ferb.

Jason Earles (Jackson Stewart)

  • Age in 2006: 29
  • Notable Projects: Kickin' It, American Pie: Band Camp, National Treasure

Jackson Stewart was Miley's older brother and although he was always scheming to make a name for himself, he's the only character to not have an alternate identity.

Jason has been a part of Hollywood for some time now, and much to the surprise of countless fans of the show, he was nearly twice the age of the rest of the cast.

Moises Arias (Rico Suave)

  • Age in 2006: 13
  • Notable Projects: Despicable Me 2, Ben-Hur, Enders Game

Rico Suave is the young manager at the local surf shack, who also happens to be Jackson's boss. Rico is best known for his evil schemes and laugh. Mua -ha -ha-ha-haaaaa!

Moises Arias has been rising among the ranks of Hollywood's young stars with roles in Ben-Hur and Enders Game, and his quirky role in Hannah Montana helped him find fame.
