'Hardcore Henry' Will Get Your Heart Racing Into Overdrive!

Having just got back from the Cinema i can tell you Hardcore Henry is a roller coaster ride of a Movie with one hell of a body count.

Mixing great action set pieces and creating an entire NEW sub-genre of film, that will no doubt inspire copycats overnight, Hardcore Henry is a refreshing sleeper hit in the making.

What's the plot you ask? read on.....

Hardcore Henry is an action film told from a first person perspective: You remember nothing. Mainly because you've just been brought back from the dead by your wife (Haley Bennett). She tells you that your name is Henry. Five minutes later, you are being shot at, your wife has been kidnapped, and you should probably go get her back. Who's got her? His name's Akan; he's a powerful warlord with an army of mercenaries, and a plan for world domination. You're also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, and everyone wants you dead. Everyone except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy. He may be on your side, but you aren't sure. If you can survive the insanity, and solve the mystery, you might just discover your purpose and the truth behind your identity. Good luck, Henry. You're likely going to need it...

I cannot over play how good this movie is, it's a highly original premise but with hints of Jason Statham's Crank and a touch of Mad Max's relentlessness.

This is an action film that delivers the goods, bad guys are dispersed every way you could imagine. Much Like 2014's Kingsman the stunts will leave you both cringing with shock and howling with laughter.

In fact it's probably my favourite movie of 2016 (so far).

Look at this camera rig, you wouldn't think it was possible to shoot a movie this way but by god have they created something special.

The main character is YOU the viewer as we watch everything through Henry's eyes and learn what's going on along the way. Who or what is Henry? why are the bad guy's after him? who the hell is trying to help him?

Also!

Great comic relief is brought to the table by Sharlto Copley, star of such films as District 9, A-Team and Chappie. In fact the role he has really plays to his strengths and without giving much away you'll love the wackiness.

Unbelievable to think this movie started as a couple of cool music video's by a band called Biting Elbow. After the success of these it then went on to be a kick-starter project for the Director and writer Ilya Naishuller, which gave them the funds to fulfill their vision.
