After years of waiting and multiple failed attempts, we're finally getting a Justice League movie next year. The Zack Snyder-helmed project is set to hit theaters next year in November. Slowly but surely, concept art and #JusticeLeagueCast announcements have been trickling out, with the most recent news being the announcement of the Justice League movie title. Well, here's a compilation of all the actors and actresses who have been confirmed to join the movie!

Ben Affleck as Batman

For all the uproar that came with Ben Affleck's casting, it's amazing to see how many people have gone back on their thoughts and praise the actor's take on the Dark Knight. Good news for the fans then — Affleck will be back in the role for Justice League, playing a central role. All we know as of now is that he'll be recruiting and forming the League with Wonder Woman. And speaking of Wonder Woman —

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

Another casting decision that stirred up quite the controversy early on, Gal Gadot proved to be a near-flawless Wonder Woman. She played the role with a perfect blend of compassion and strength — a characteristic fans get to see twice next year. Let's hope she kicks as much ass as she did in BvS.

Justice League will come a few months after Wonder Woman, with Gadot cemented in the role. This will make it easier to position her as the leader of the League (alongside Batman).

Henry Cavill as Superman

Despite how Batman v Superman ended off, we were certain Superman would burst back onto our screens in time for Justice League. Cavill confirmed this himself this past February. He's been training quite a bit since then, so are we about to see a bulked up Superman? Either way, it's time for the inevitable rebirth of Clark Kent (receding hairline and all)!

Ezra Miller as The Flash (Barry Allen)

He may not be as well recognizable as Grant Gustin is now, but Ezra Miller is definitely a star on the rise. From Perks of Being a Wallflower, to his upcoming roles in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the DC Universe, it looks like Miller's star-power is here to stay. His quick cameos in Batman v Superman gave us a small taste of what we're about to see on the big screen. We've been told that he brings the comedic relief in the film, something that fans are definitely ready for. Plus, he's ditched the man-bun and is looking more and more like the Flash we're used to:

Jason Momoa as Aquaman

Thanks to a drastic costume change and some powerful abilities, there aren't going to be too many Aquaman jokes in the near future. Rumors were circulating that Aquaman was poised to be the main antagonist of the film. Jason Momoa clearly loves and respects the character, ensuring that his Justice League role will please fans. And having audiences love him won't be a bad thing, especially with his solo film coming out the next year.

And speaking of his solo movie, there's another character in Justice League who'll appear with the King of Atlantis in Aquaman:

Amber Heard as Mera

Back in January, we learned that actress Amber Heard had joined the film as Mera, the badass Queen of Atlantis. The character's role in the plot hasn't been revealed, but we do know that she'll be in both Justice League movies, as well as the Aquaman solo feature. She's expected to fill the ranks of the League, as well as bring some of DC's strong female characters to the forefront of their cinematic endeavors. I'm definitely looking forward to this, especially with Heard's interesting description of the costume and Mera's awesome powers (which will no doubt look amazing on the big screen).

Ray Fisher as Cyborg

Relative-unknown Ray Fisher will be bringing Cyborg to life in Justice League, after his "agonizing birth" in Batman v Superman. Like Flash, Cyborg is expected to bring some levity to the team, which makes sense given he's supposed to be a teen.

Cyborg is set up for a relatively large part in the film, if only because a Mother Box (Darkseid's toy) was used to create him.

Amy Adams as Lois Lane

Everyone's favorite reporter will be making her return in Justice League. Like the other characters, very little is known about her involvement, but she will no doubt share a few scenes with Clark (either at his grave or after his resurrection).

Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth

The sassiest Alfred yet will join the growing roster of returning characters next year. Like Lois, his character will likely be tied to the one person that brings them into the movie (in this case, Bruce Wayne). As long as we get some more one-liners, we're all good.

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor

Love him or hate him, the eccentric billionaire Lex Luthor will join the film, most likely to give some exposition on the Mother Boxes (and who exactly "He" is). His scene will likely be a quick interrogation in prison, but at least he'll be bald!

J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon

You probably thought that after Gary Oldman's masterful take on Commissioner James Gordon, there was nowhere to go but down. Well, Warner Bros. is here to prove you wrong, because Academy Award winner (and former J Jonah Jameson) J.K. Simmons is the new Gordon! His presence in the movie confirms at least one scene set in Gotham City, but has been described as a "short cameo." No problem, since Simmons also said he'll be back for "two, three, four, maybe more movies."

Willem Dafoe as ???

Looks like Warner Bros. is picking up the shattered remnants of Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, because Willem Dafoe is also a part of the movie! Though his character is being heavily guarded, we've heard that he's playing a "good guy." The theories on who he's playing range from an Atlantean senator to Martian Manhunter, so keep a lookout for when this revelation comes to light!

Jared Leto as Joker?

This is nowhere near confirmed (we haven't even heard a rumor about it), but Jared Leto may have revealed something interesting earlier today. It's been nine months since Suicide Squad wrapped production and about two months since the reshoots were completed. So why exactly is Jared Leto dressing up as Joker again? Maybe for a quick cameo in Justice League, which is filming right about now.

Don't expect this to be the entire cast, however, as there will no doubt be some new additions over the next year and a half. And who knows, maybe one of them will be the main villain.
