Everyone's favorite animals, introduced by Beatrix Potter, have come to life as the first trailer for the #PeterRabbit movie has dropped. The famous rabbit we all know and love will introduce himself in the wildest way as Sony Pictures have turned him into a hilarious party animal.

The live action and animated film sees James Corden take on the main lead as the mischievous rabbit who causes trouble with local boy, Mr. McGregor, played by Domhnall Gleeson.

The Peter Rabbit Movie will tell the story of Peter and his wacky wild friends, including the fox who attempted to eat Peter Rabbit, bombard on Mr. McGregor's glorious vegetable patch in his garden, as well as destroying his mansion as best as they can.

However, when McGregor returns home, the loveable furry friends promptly find a hiding place and act as if they did nothing whatsoever. The rest of the movie has been kept under tight lips, but, Peter Rabbit looks as though it's ready to please its younger audience. On the other hand, the trailer hasn't pleased some people on social media.

Whilst the movie looks all happy, jumpy and exciting, a lot of social media users aren't too impressed with the released footage so far. One Twitter user expressed his disappointment by saying there's a 'special place in movie hell' for everyone that was part of the movie.

Another Twitter user showed their anger for the Peter Rabbit movie by saying they were 'deeply offended' by the first trailer.

Whilst a large amount of fans are raging about the upcoming movie, calling it an 'insult' to Beatrix Potter, there's also numerous fans out there who are incredibly excited to see the movie when it's released. One fan is calling the trailer 'great work' and is excited to see the movie with his daughter.

Final Thoughts

The movie, which is expected to be released on February 8, 2018, will also see Sam Neill star in the movie, alongside Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley.

The movie is directed by Will Gluck, who also co-wrote the film with Rob Lieber. But, putting all the rants aside, it appears Peter Rabbit will be a light-hearted movie to entertain a younger audience as they go on one wild party adventure.
