Is Loki still alive?

Let's start off by saying if you have no idea what this is it who the characters above are then maybe you should start in the beginning.

Now if you decided to skip over all the Iron Man, Captain America, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Antman, Thor, Guardian of the Galaxy, Hulk, Spider-man and other Avengers movie you might be a little confused and I advise you to check those out.

Now if you've seen all those movies and Infinity War, you're most likely not confused and have a lot of thoughts and theories on your mind and maybe just maybe your theories are based off of Loki's unfortunate death.

As a lot of people saw Loki was murdered by Thanos in the first five minutes of the movie which kind of sucks for a lot of people who loved Loki, including myself. Some people won't accept such an easy defeat. Some people believe that Loki was way too smart to believe a dagger could kill Thanos.

(And for all the fangirls and boys out there, I seriously hope that's the truth.)

Some believe that the original Banner got away to safety with the other half of Asgard and that Loki pretended to be Banner.

It's not too crazy to believe that the truth because it wouldn't be the first time Loki faked his death and it could explain why the Hulk would come out.

Some people believe the Hulk wouldn't come out because he felt like Banner was using him and didn't want to be a pawn which is understandable but something about the theory of Loki playing Banner stood out to me.

Now let's go all the way back to the movie Thor: Ragnarok when Bruce first left his Hulk form for the first time in two years he couldn't remember anything.

Now if you fast forward to Infinity War when Bruce landed back on Earth and talked to Strange, he could remember everything and he told him about how Thanos was coming and his goals to wipe out half the Earth's population.

How could Bruce have known that if he was in Hulk form? Doesn't make sense, does it?

Now back to Loki's intelligence and dying words. Loki was responsible for almost taking over Earth and he would've succeeded if he wasn't stopped by Earth's mightiest heroes. It was revealed that Loki was working for Thanos, meaning he knew who he was and what he was capable of.

Thanos had infinity stones on him so trying to just stab him in the neck didn't seem like a real Loki thing to do and we can't forget Loki's last moments.

Loki says: "Almighty Thanos, I, Loki, Prince of Asgard... (turns his head towards Thor), Odinson... (looks Thor in the eye, then turns back to Thanos), rightful King of Jotunheim, God of Mischief, do hereby pledge to you, my undying fidelity."

Thanos replies: "Undying? You should choose your words more carefully."

But the thing is Loki always chooses his words carefully and even before he went to stab Thanos, he told Thor, “I assure you, brother, the sun will shine on us again.”

Now once he said that, I personly believe he had a plan that involved him faking his death as I started before this wouldn't be Loki's first time faking his death.

Everybody knows how dramatic Loki is, so what if this is all apart of his big plan to jump out when he's really needed and be the hero, which rarely happens?

So what do you think really happened? Do you have a theory of your own?

And don't forget to check out Infinity War: Endgame coming out April 26th, 2019.
