Is Tommy Destined to Return to Arrow in Season 5?

The last episode of arrow left a sadness in our hearts that was due to the phenomenal acting of all the team. Finally after so much time one could see true good acting in a show that has had some problems since the middle of season 3. But today I'm about to propose something that has been on my mind since this episode aired: Tommy is coming back. The reasons are as follows:

1) He was heavily featured in the last episode.

The last episode was a lot of Laurel but also a lot of Tommy. His relationship with her is explored nearly as much as the one with Oliver.

2) In the comics, he is the villain Malcolm is currently portraying.

The character of Merlyn the magician was originally named tommy in the comics but was changed slightly to suit the arrow version. Merlyn is the arch villain of the comics but now after season 1 he seems more like comic relief. Tommy's return may be just what is needed to propel the character into the awesome epicness it deserves.

3) Laurel's death may just be the causative agent in his demise.

Tommy in season 1 is a very nice character. But the magician archer is so much more evil. His relationship with Laurel might lead him to blame Oliver thus leading to his new awakening. Plus Laurel says something to Oliver, "Promise me". Promise me what exactly?

4) The Lazaras pit was active when Tommy died.

Merlyn was pretty broken up over Tommy's death. So it stands to reason he used his magic voodoo that he used to keepisode himself alive to save tommy or the pit itself.

5) Nearly every major character on Arrow comes back at least once.

Kinda a no brainer but nearly every major character except Oliver's mum and Shadow have returned. Those two were kinda irrelevant to the story so I think Tommy will come back. Plus they will be able to run the whole Oh I can't kill him he's my friend but he wants to kill me thing with Oliver.
